I’ve been so busy over the past few months with work of my own choosing that I haven’t had the chance to properly share some of the things I’ve been blessed to get involved with. The second half of this year was primarily focused on what I internally termed “chasing alignment”. To me, it was more about listening to God, that inner voice, and rhythm, doing the things that felt naturally aligned with my own cadence. Living and playing to the beat of my own drum of sorts, and seeking opportunities that were instrumental. On that note, I had the opportunity to shoot and edit some amazing BTS videography for @seventhstores . Shout out to @abiolakareem_ , @iambukki , @emxxuel , and the rest of the team for trusting me to do so. Weaving and constructing narratives in a run-and-gun style and rediscovering my love of stories, people, and just catching a vibe with it. Still battling through an ankle stress fracture, and been completely off all training cycles with little to no strength training. Trying to figure where and when I can even push my body, whilst definitely noticing strength differentials and atrophy. But we move, fall down 7, rise up 8 🏁 by @mubaraktairu
This year, I wanted to share more online, share more of the processes I go through when ideating and creating, rather than chasing an ever-moving goalpost of perfection. So this is me making good on that. Still not where I want things to be, but progress is better than perfection. 🏁 Anyway, enough of the long talk. An Everyday Series Of Adulting… Where I aim to capture and tell the story of the never-ending highs, lows and in-betweens of adulting… Let me know what you think ✌🏿 (Also on YT - because IG’s compression algorithm is a bastard) - link in bio by @mubaraktairu

I hear photo dumps are the new thing. Been extremely reflective this month of July. Learnt about the power of story telling, and the importance of sharing not just your story, but giving others the platform to share theirs. I've also reflected on lot's of other things, but I'll spare you the details for now. Caught up with a lot of people that I've been meaning to catch up with for the longest. Anyway just came to say, take a moment to be still and appreciate the journey you're on, appreciate life and care for people. 🏁 by @mubaraktairu
A recent stress fracture and fractured wrist have brought my gym and track sessions to a near standstill over the past weeks and months. Suddenly, I’ve had to find new ways to get that dopamine hit and the mental clarity that my usual routine gave me. Thankfully and fortuitously, I’m happy to have found solace in something simple: going for walks and exploring the outdoors. There’s a real serendipity to walking, not knowing where the path will take you or what you’ll see along the way. In a way, it’s reminiscent of life itself. On these walks, my mind is free to meander, thoughts, fears, and ideas are able to surface, eventually distilling into clear conclusions. So, this is my message to you, go outside and touch grass. You might be surprised by what you find. #outdoors #cinematography #cinematic #nature #explorepage #walk by @mubaraktairu
Fulfilling my yearly quota of one post a year, and I don't know where to even start. 2020 vision but we didn't see this year coming. Imagine we nearly had WW3 at the beginning of the year 😭 What a year it's been, so much has happened this year both personally and around me, we can only thank God for getting us this far. Learning to appreciate life a lot more, and celebrating those around you whilst they're still here. I pray God is kind to us for the rest of this year, and I pray we have a great 2021. Also , swipe left for a not so trimless video from earlier on this year ✨ by @mubaraktairu
