Since September a wonderful community music activity has become a weekly highlight for occupational therapy patients at @bellevuehospitaljamaica, Jamaica's only psychiatric hospital. Conceived and facilitated by Kyle Kaddad, an Alpha School of Music Pro Pathway student, 30 patients gather weekly to play instruments, sing, dance and share their feelings and knowledge about music. The feedback from participants has been inspiring and we are grateful to Bellevue Hospital for the partnership, to the Gloria Baylis Foundation in Canada for its generous support and to Music Alive in Ireland for their guidance. 🎶❤️🇯🇲 #music #health #Jamaica by @mus1c_within
