It’s so easy to get caught up in what’s missing.

👉 The balance we still haven’t quite figured out — between work, family, and ourselves.
👉 The financial freedom we thought we’d have “by now. ”
👉 The confident, grounded version of ourselves we’re still becoming.

But sometimes, you have to pause and notice just how far you ’ ve already come.

Think about it . . . A year ago I was working in my restaurant until late at night or early morning. Yes I was happy I had a restaurant, but I also felt so tired, all the time. I worked 6 days a week most of the time, from 6 am unti 8 or 9 at night and when we had caterings, sometimes we couldnd sleep more than 4 hours in a 24 hrs period.

Sometimes on my day off, I’d scroll Instagram and wish, that I could work from home and build a little business online. Something that would not be so physical and demanding.

After all I am getting older, at 67, how many more years, would I be able to work this much? but I’d push it out of my mind because I didn’t have the time, energy, or confidence to even try.

Back then, the life I’m living now felt so out of reach. And even though I’m still growing, still learning, still building — I’m already living inside a version of the dream I once had.

So if you ’re feeling behind, I want you to ask yourself:

💛 What did you once pray for that you already have now?
💛 What would the version of you a year ago think if she saw you today?

Because chances are… she’d be so proud of how far you ’ve come. This journey isn’t about overnight transformation. It’s about small steps, tiny wins, and realizing you ’re already further than you think.

I thought raising children was the hard part.

Then they became adults… and the worries grew up with them. 🫠

You want to help, respect their choices, and let them find their way. But your mother’s heart doesn’t have an off switch.

Add work, bills, a house to care for, and your own tired body… and sometimes the kitchen floor becomes your five-minute vacation. 😂

I love my family. I also need a moment when nobody needs anything from me.

Things Killing Your Instagram Reach in 2026

If your Instagram views and engagement dropped this year, you’re not alone.

The algorithm changed, and these 3 mistakes are why most creators and small businesses are getting buried.

1. Weak Hooks
If you don’t grab attention in the first second, people scroll. Low retention tells Instagram your content isn’t worth showing.

2. Low Watch Time
80% drop-off in the first 3 seconds = instant downrank. You need pattern interrupts every 2 seconds to keep viewers watching.

3. Bad Calls to Action
“Like and follow” doesn’t work anymore. Instagram prioritizes saves and shares in 2026. If your CTA isn’t driving those, your reach dies.

The fix? Start strong, keep them watching, and ask for saves instead of likes.

For years, I told myself I did not have the bandwidth to start another business. I would work an exhausting 9-5, happily in my small restaurant and collapse on the couch, and lose two hours every night scrolling right here.

The breakthrough came when I could no longer have the restaurant due to my husband’s illness. Because I had to, I stopped treating my phone like an escape and started using simple AI tools to build my own business in 30 minutes a day.

Screen time is either an expense or an investment.

The exact minutes you spend consuming other people’s lives can fund your next chapter.

Tech is no longer your barrier.

AI handles the complicated build work now. If you can send an email, you have all the technical skill you need.

Starting over at this stage of life is an advantage.

You have decades of real-world wisdom and resilience on your side. AI simply turns your lived experience into leverage.

Freedom requires honest self-leadership.

Waiting for a slower season is a trap. You create your next life by redirecting the small pockets of time you already have.

I began learning Al at 67—not because technology came easily to me, but because life gave me a reason to begin again.

I need a lot of time to take care of my hubby of 47 years together. Taking him to all his treatments, home care and making sure he eats super healthy meals with lots of vegetables and fruits.

Having AI’s helping me with the new business star up, frees up a lot of time so I can continue to dedicate care to the one who matters most.

And it’s not rocket science!

Here, we learn one simple step at a time-without pressure, hype or confusing technical language.

Yesterday, I sat beside my husband in the hospital, holding his hands while we waited for another procedure.

There was nothing I could do to make the moment easier. I couldn’t take away his illness or carry the pain for him.

All I could do was hold his hands, pray quietly, and remind him that he was not facing it alone.

This journey has taught me that love is not always found in grand gestures.

Sometimes love is showing up when you are exhausted.

Sometimes it is staying strong while your heart is afraid.

Sometimes it is sitting in a hospital room, holding the same hands you promised never to let go.

We have walked through more than I ever imagined we would—but God has remained beside us through every appointment, every procedure, every tear, and every small victory.

So yesterday, while we waited, I held his hands a little tighter.

And I prayed:

“Lord, please hold both of us while we hold on to each other.” 🤍 by @musesdigital

Life taught me that strength doesn’t always look brave.

Sometimes it looks like getting out of bed with a heavy heart, trusting Hod when you cannot see the way forward, and choosing to keep going one day at a time.

The hardest seasons don’t leave us unchanged. They teach us what truly matters: faith, love, health and the precious time we have with the people we love ❤️

Some days all I had to@look forward to was a fresh brewed cup of coffee ☕️ by @musesdigital

I used to own a restaurant. 🍽️

Not anymore.

My husband got extremely sick — the kind of sick where you don’t leave. I closed the doors so I could be with him 24/7. No income. No plan. Just hospital bills stacking up and a marriage I wasn’t about to abandon.

So I started building something new — from a waiting room chair.

No business degree. No tech background. Just me, my phone, and three AI tools (@ClaudeAI, @ChatGPT, and Allen AI) teaching me affiliate marketing from scratch, one voice memo and one late night at a time.

This isn’t a “I quit my 9-5 to live my dream” story.

This is a “I had no other choice, so I made one” story.version:

Some Mondays look like this — leaning against a hospital wall while the person you love fights through chemo. Not glamorous. Not easy. Just showing up, one appointment at a time.

That’s what “being awesome” actually looks like some weeks — not big wins, just staying present for the people who need you.

One of the reasons I keep going is Allen — it handles so much of my workflow for me that it frees up space for me to stay positive instead of drowning in the small stuff.

No matter how old your children are they are always your babies. My children are adults and I still stay awake at night with their problems. Now their problem are bigger, and scarier. I find comfort in saying a prayer and thanking God that no matter what comes He’s always there helping us. It never easy though. by @musesdigital
