Laura has been on set with @deep.blue.pictures this week, and a speedway with a vintage car isn’t too shabby of a place to film in! by @mutemajesty

John did a short corporate interview this morning, but he was flying solo because Laura is script supervisor on a three day commercial gig in Tampa. We always like to take advantage of our interview setups to grab new headshots. A perk of the job! The interview was only 15 minutes, but what you don’t see are the 4 hours of time it took to pack up, drive, unpack at the location, set up, transform the room from a boring conference breakout room to an interesting space, then pack it all back up and get home again. There’s no such thing as an hour of video work because there’s always more happening behind the scenes. by @mutemajesty

We had a great time shooting a video podcast for a client last week. The conversation these women had was really interesting and a subject not often discussed.

Laura is on set as Script Supervisor this week in Tampa for a television pilot. The 1960’s period piece has required some unique locations.

We work hard to make the rough cut of the films we edit a good representation of what the final film will be like so the director and producers know what to expect. While we typically hire VFX artists, colorists, and sound mixers to complete the films, we drop in temporary versions during early drafts so the scene feels more complete. Here’s a peak into our process of building a rough cut!

First time @gasparillafilm since 2019 and it did not disappoint. We liked the vibe better than when it was in Ybor City, met a lot of friendly volunteers, talented filmmakers, and gracious patrons. So glad to represent @storyroadfilms picture @pullingstringsmovie at another film festival. Here’s to the next one! by @mutemajesty

At the I Win friends and family preview! by @mutemajesty

Now that we work together as an editing team, we want to share techniques you can use to make your next film a success. “How to Think Like an Editor from Pre-Pro to Delivery” is basically an overview of the filmmaking process, told through an editor’s point of view. You might be surprised what little changes can make post-production smoother. Come on the journey with us Feb 10 @studiolotorlando for only $25. Ticket link in bio.

We ❤️ shooting interviews. Today we heard the story of a proud deaf man and his incredibly supportive aunt, for the upcoming short doc “Embracing the Silence.” Thanks to @truopio and @hoffysheart for allowing us to help capture this.

Did someone say #TimelineTuesday? This is a fun little short we did last year with @hoffysheart and @makeawishcnfl called SpecialTee. The timeline is relatively flat until about 3/4 through, and that’s where it gets fun. It’s a montage of social media posts that we largely created with illustration, motion graphics, and submitted content. You can still see it on our website!

What a fun premiere for @pullingstringsmovie, a short we helped our good friends create. It even included a live performance of their original song from the film.
