A boss says, *'Go.'* A leader says, *'Let’s go.'*"

So I was invited to this summit, and not knowing it was a leadership summit until the last minute! and was thinkingvit must be another volunteer opportunity, and I didnt have to work, annot knowing what it was going to be about even, I said, ok I'll do it. But let me tell you, every bit of it was sooo worth it in so many ways.

Now some may say, how can you be a leader if you're not strong? lol

Well I'll tell you this, being strong is all I know..... and the character, integrity and belief in common sense parts, well that's optional lol

"Leadership is about strength, character, integrity, and of course, the common sense part" lol - author unknown lol

In the meantime, some inspiring quotes for ya:

"Leadership is not about being in charge. It is about taking care of those in your charge." —Simon Sinek

"People don't care how much you know till they know how much you care." - Theodore Roosevelt

"The challenge of leadership is to be strong, but not rude; be kind, but not weak; be bold, but not bullied." - Jim Rohn

True leadership isn't a title, a corner office, or a seat at the head of the table. It’s an action, a mindset, and a daily choice.

Too often, we mistake authority for leadership. But real leaders don’t rely on power; they build trust. They don't just clear the path; they walk it alongside their team.

The best leaders I’ve ever encountered share a common superpower: **they make the people around them better.** They don’t create followers; they inspire and empower the next generation of leaders. When the team wins, a great leader steps back and shines the spotlight on them. When the team fails, the leader steps forward and takes ownership.

If you are in a position to influence others today—whether you're managing a massive corporation, leading a small project, or just guiding a friend—remember this: **Your impact isn't measured by what you achieve, but by what you inspire others to achieve.**

What is the single most important quality you look for in a leader?
Let’s talk about it in the comments below! 👇

Expectation: Adorable Hello Kitty merch 🎀

Reality: Heatstroke 👎😂🥵🫠

Our entire Comic-Con plan was just checking out the Hello Kitty Pop-Up Truck at the Interactive Zone across from Petco Park. But between the heat index and that endless line, standing outside felt impossible. Wearing a costume in this weather should officially count as extreme sports.

We cut our losses and went straight home! 🏠✨

Are you team "stick it out in the sun" or team "go home to the AC and eat tons of ice cream" lol? Let me know in the comments!

San Diego Comic-Con recap: Hello Kitty Pop-Up Truck vs. 90-degree heat. The heat won. 👎☀️🔥

We literally walked up to the Interactive Zone, looked at that Hello Kitty line in the burning sun, was hoping to find some cool summery refreshing drinks, got some sweet treats instead, as well as stopped by smashburger,(couldn't resist) and turned right back around to go home.

Honestly, hosting these outdoor events—and wearing full cosplay—in this kind of heat is pure punishment. Props to anyone who toughed it out, but my AC was calling!

My Comic-Con recap in one sentence:

We came, we saw the lines, we went home. 🥵👋

Honestly, the main goal today was hitting the Hello Kitty pop-up truck at the Interactive Zone. But standard SDCC summer heat + zero shade + a massive line? Absolutely not for me.

And standing outside in full costumes or full sun in this weather is actual torture—I don't know how some of the other costume wearers are getting by!

We threw in the towel and went straight home to the Coaster and AC lol 🌊🚅 🫠🏠

Did anyone else give up on the outdoor lines today, or are you that resilient and patient?! 😂

Come out, come out all you Demons and Demon Slayers and Hunters or whatever or wherever u are lol 😂

Still thinking about how amazing and yet, how God awful as well as, how a bit overpriced and overrated this past weekend at **San Diego Comic-Con** was! lol 🦸‍♂️✨😂😔

I mean, dont get me wrong, Comic Con can be tons of fun. But under the right conditions. Meaning - weather, parking, timing, money, clothing, you know, the basics lol

So hands down, the best decision we made that day was skipping the gridlock traffic and ridiculous $50+ parking fees by taking the **COASTER** train down to downtown.

And instead of stressing on the fwy, we got to sit back, soak in those stunning, crisp Pacific ocean views along the coast, and actually relax before stepping right into the madness at the San Diego Convention Center. There’s something so surprisingly rejuvenating about starting and ending a chaotic con day with the ocean breeze and blue water rolling past your window. 🌊🚆

Tbh, some parts was almost actually better than standing out in those long lines w/ the sun frying your brains all day lol 😂

IF I do go next yr, (which will be my 5th yr in the making) i'll try to make sure to not have surgery in the summer that brings me an almost endless fever 😂🥵 to bring plenty of water, hat, sunscreen, and perhaps even an umbrella!🌂

But if you haven't taken public transit to SDCC yet, you are seriously missing out on the ultimate con life-hack! I mean, yes there were a few pit stops along the way, but we made it just in time! 😂

**What about you all?** How did you commute into Comic-Con this year—or what was your favorite highlight/costume from the weekend? Drop your thoughts below! 👇

**Heading to Comic-Con in full Sanrio mode!** 🎀✨

Nothing beats riding the COASTER down the coast in a cute Hello Kitty cosplay— even if it's for a day! Were talking ocean views out the window, coffee in hand, and nothing but sea and land! 🌊🚃

Picture this: You’re heading to San Diego Comic-Con, but instead of weaving and dodging through gridlock traffic and wasting cash on $50+ parking, you’re sipping coffee and watching the Pacific waves roll past your window. 🌊🚆

That was our reality this past weekend, and hands down, taking the COASTER train right to the San Diego Convention Center was the best move we made!

Not only did it save us a ton on gas and astronomical parking fees, but starting and ending the chaotic con days with those breathtaking coastal views felt surprisingly rejuvenating. Stepping off the train refreshed, relaxed, and steps away from the convention center floor was the ultimate con life-hack. 🦸‍♂️✨

If you’ve never taken public transit to SDCC, you are officially missing out!

Over to you: How do you usually brave the Comic-Con commute—and what was your favorite moment or cosplay from the weekend? Let’s hear it in the comments! 👇
