God has been so faithful to me and I know this year He will outdo Himself. The latter will be greater than the former. Happy birthday to me 🤍 #myasbig24th by @mya_vh

I’m happy to announce that I’ve completed the Major Event Management course at City St George’s, University of London 🎓 Excellence is a huge part of everything I do and the pursuit of knowledge is what sets one apart from the next. This course challenged me to be extremely intentional. It made me understand that so much goes into events beyond planning a party. The role of an event manager or planner goes very deep and it requires structure, precision, coordination and care. I’m grateful for the opportunity to keep learning and growing, and I’m excited to bring all of it into every event I plan. Events by Mya is available for bookings. DM me to plan your amazing events and you won’t regret it 🥳🥳 by @mya_vh
Understanding how to find your perfect foundation shade can be so hard, but for me it all started with understanding my undertone. Once you know yours, it’s so much easier to pick foundations that actually suit you, even if that means mixing them. Your undertone is basically the colour under your skin. It’s not about how light or deep you are. It’s whether you lean warm, cool or neutral. So my MAC NW50 was the right depth, but it was too neutral for me and just looked flat. My other foundation had more life, but it was too orange. Neither one worked on its own, so I mixed them, and honestly it was perfect. That’s when I realised I’m somewhere in the middle, neutral with a bit of warmth. Little tips from me: always swatch on your jaw and neck, not your hand, and check it in daylight. Let it dry before you decide, because it can change. And if two shades are almost right, try mixing them before you give up. If you don’t know your undertone, just ask at a MAC or Fenty counter. They’ll tell you for free. by @mya_vh

I’ve been using this Bioderma Atoderm Cleansing Oil for a while, and I never understood why it was so good at taking off my makeup. After doing some research, I realised it’s not your typical cleansing oil. It’s an oil mixed with gentle cleansers, so when it meets water it turns milky and rinses off clean. It melts away makeup and dirt, but leaves your skin soft instead of tight and stripped. It cleanses and moisturises in one step, and you can use it on your face and body. Honestly, the best cleansing oil I’ve ever used. Have you tried it? Comment OIL and I’ll send you the link! #Bioderma #CleansingOil #SkincareReview #MakeupRemoval by @mya_vh
