When I first started making socks, I was coaching ice skating outdoors in below freezing temperatures. When you are coaching, you are standing still for hours at a time. I’d get blisters on my feet almost every session and loosing sensation in my toes was totally normal - they were so cold to the point where they would itch (🤚 if you know what I’m talking about). I tried ski socks and socks for other sports - they were too thick and I couldn’t get my foot into my skate boot causing even more pain. As I started getting feedback from other skaters about how they were loving our socks, they were also telling me they were wearing our socks outside of the rink too. I’m all about functionality and versatility - I thought to myself “jackpot! More ways to wear one pair of socks”. I love being able to wear our socks to the rink ⛸ , when I’m pic skating 🛼 and then with heels, flats, boots, etc. Such a win-win! So no, you don’t have to be a skater to enjoy the heck out of our socks! ☮️ ❤️ 🧦
