Today, we mourn the loss of Paul Blanchard, a tremendous supporter of MBK617 and a dedicated instructor for our Spartan Carpentry Program.

Paul was a mentor, leader, and genuinely great man who poured his knowledge, time, and heart into helping others succeed. His impact on our students and our community will never be forgotten.

We extend our deepest condolences to his family and loved ones during this difficult time. Thank you, Paul, for everything you gave to our program and the lives you touched.

May you rest in peace. You will be truly missed.

It took us a year but with the help of friends, we finally raised the money to get this mother and son a tombstone. It took @ladiicreole persistence to see it thru and with the help from Stephanie at the Louis D Brown Peace Institute. This is not something we do on a regular basis but this was personal. We believe everyone should be buried with dignity. R.I.P Andronique (Wavy). We love and miss you lil brotha. by @mybrotherskeeper617

On this episode of Family Tree TV, we sit down with Isaac Yablo, Senior Advisor for Community Safety in the Mayor’s Office, for an honest conversation about violence prevention, youth opportunity, and the relationship between community and city government. by @mybrotherskeeper617

For years, our CEO Mario has worked directly with youth and adults navigating the court system — helping them understand their options, connect to resources, and move forward with their lives. Now he’s bringing that knowledge to the community.

In this episode of Family Tree TV, Mario breaks down the difference between sealed, vacated, and expunged records so more people can understand their rights and opportunities.
