POSTS STORIES REELS

They call it the Pink City - a name born when Jaipur was painted in terracotta tones to welcome a royal guest, a gesture of warmth and hospitality that still colors the city today.

But Jaipur’s glow runs deeper than paint.
It’s the red of its heart, the heritage woven into every street, and the people who give color its meaning. by @mycanopystories

Colour inspo straight from the streets of Jaipur 🎨✨

Lined along this bench are ghagras—traditional, flared skirts worn by women across Rajasthan, often paired with matching cholis (blouses) and odhnis (scarves).

Each one is a canvas of colour and detail: deep navy for quiet elegance, fiery red for celebration and vitality, sunshine yellow for warmth and auspiciousness.

The intricate embroidery and mirror work are more than decoration. They’re symbols of regional identity, worn during weddings, festivals, and dances that bring entire communities together.

These textiles are wearable stories, carrying the artistry, spirit, and traditions of Rajasthan in every stitch.

A window to another world—the world of craft, the heart of craft: India. 🇮🇳

Just as our eyes are windows to the soul, they’re also portals to art - seeing beauty in the simplest forms, in weathered wood, in hand-forged details, in colors that tell stories.

It’s in these quiet observations that craft comes alive. by @mycanopystories

A dance of shapes and colors ✨

Inspired by geometric tessellations, this pattern plays with symmetry and contrast, creating a piece that’s as striking up close as it is from afar. Woven from 100% cotton and hand-painted, it’s a true meeting of artistry and comfort.

Every thread here tells a story of patience and precision.

This is handloom weaving, where every detail is guided by human hands.

From setting the warp to the final weave, it’s a rhythm of skill passed down through generations, creating fabrics with soul and character no machine can replicate.

Her name is Santosh.

An artisan of quiet strength and deep grace.
She speaks with gentleness, but every word carries the depth of a life dedicated to her art.

The sun, the breeze, the open space—they shape her rhythm, each element essential to the beauty she brings to life.

There is devotion in her gestures.
A warmth that stays with you.
And a presence you don’t forget.

A gentle stillness.
Soft folds catching the light.
The quiet comfort of slow moments.
Of time stretching, unhurried.
Of beauty that doesn’t ask for attention - just presence.
