Four friends, one afternoon, colorful drapes, and a make-up bar ... and that's the entire plan! Watching your friend get draped teaches you almost as much as getting draped yourself. Plus it's just so fun. ;) by @mycolorspop
Every October the stores decide we are all one season, and that season is pumpkin! If rust and mustard are genuinely yours, wonderful, wear them straight through February. But a lot of people are wearing them out of loyalty to the month rather than to their own face. A soft blue, a cool pink, a true red, a deep plum. All completely reasonable things to wear to a table covered in gourds. 😊 by @mycolorspop
I have the BEST clients and it's an honor to serve you. Thank you for the love, Sarah! 💖 by @mycolorspop
There is a specific sound a group makes when the right drape goes on, and I have become slightly addicted to it! It is not polite agreement. It is involuntary. Four people who were mid-conversation about something else entirely all stop and say "Ohhhh." And then you get to celebrate your friend looking and feeling beautiful, and she gets to do the same for you! by @mycolorspop
Mark your calendars, friends! On Thursday, October 29, I’m popping up at the brand new @bavingtonclothier (1610 Manheim Pike, Lancaster) from 2 to 6 p.m., and I’d love for you to come.
If you’ve had your colors done with me, bring your color fan and card. It’s the perfect excuse to shop your palette through their beautiful fall collection.
@everything.elysse and I will have a clean beauty makeup bar set up with the full Counter line, every foundation and concealer included. We’re also celebrating the launch of Beyond Gloss, Counter’s most luxurious lip glosses yet! Sample as much as you like, and enjoy 15% off all makeup and skincare. Every makeup purchase comes with a free travel Retinatural+ Advanced Super Serum (a $35 value, while supplies last). Curious about your colors? From 2 to 4 p.m. I’m offering four 20-minute mini color analysis sessions for $150. It’s a quick version of the full draping experience, and you’ll leave knowing your palette, with an NDU seasonal wallet card to carry with you. Only four spots, so booking ahead is a must! Love it and want the fan and more in depth experience? Your $150 can go toward a full studio session.
From 4 to 6 p.m. I’ll be helping with makeup and personal shopping, so come say hi, try on some gloss and fall fashions, and let’s find your pop together.
P.S. Make a makeup purchase and a clothing purchase and you’re entered to win a Counter products basket, a $100 Bavington Clothier gift card, and a $100 My Colors Pop gift card. Not a bad way to spend a Thursday afternoon!
Mini session spots are at the link in my bio. by @mycolorspop
This is my favorite combo for a glowing, everyday look! Skincare and makeup that make my skin happy (and make getting ready feel like a little treat instead of a chore). What I love most is knowing exactly what’s going on my face. Counter created The Never List back in 2013, a list of ingredients they’ll never put in their formulas, and they test their products for contaminants like heavy metals too. As someone who seeks to reduce harmful chemicals in my life but also loves makeup, I’m so glad to be able to partner with a brand like @counterbeautyofficial. Comment “look” and I’ll send you the full product list.. 💄 #lightsummer #lightsummermakeup #coloranalysis #cleanbeauty by @mycolorspop
Can I tell you something I see all the time? A woman sits down in my studio convinced she's "not good with color." Then we drape, and I get to watch it happen. Her skin brightens, her eyes look bluer (or greener, or warmer), and she sits up a little taller. That "safe" neutral top she's worn for years? She finally sees why it never felt like her. #coloranalysis #colorconsultant #coloranalysissession #lancasterpa #lancastercoloranalyst #lancastercoloranalysis #colordrapingvideos by @mycolorspop
Nobody has ever left here saying "well, that was fine." They leave saying "I have to go home and look at my closet right now!" The thing about your right colors is that they do the work a good night of sleep does. Less shadow under the eyes, more even skin, the whole face coming forward instead of the shirt. It's not magic and it's not a filter, it's just contrast and undertone finally getting along. Bring four people, split it four ways, and spend an afternoon being told you are glowing by people who actually mean it. by @mycolorspop
Hello, cozy season! 🍂 Here are two beautiful fall palettes I discovered with my clients recently. My favorite part of fall is all of the rich autumn tones that are associated with this time of year. Autumn color palettes match the season perfectly: deep forest and olive greens, warm reds and yellows that match the falling leaves, browns like the color of your hot coffees and teas, and all the orangey pumpkin colors! 🍁 Want to step into this new season knowing how to dress in your color palette? Reach out today to book a session. ☕️ by @mycolorspop
