Sometimes it takes another voice to remind us that our story is worth sharing.

At our screening event, thanks to CUNY, Equity Design and Coach Across America, we showed student athletes what kind of change can be possible when you work not only to accomplish your goals, but to share that work to inspire others.

We wanted to create a space for student athletes to share their experiences and their hopes for communities and causes they care about. A space to share how they want to bring about positive change as advocates. Thanks to the help of CUNY, Equity Design, and Coach Across America for making this impactful event possible!

Maurelhena and members of the Equity Design team once sat where these CUNY student-athletes sit today. They didn't have athletes showing what was possible beyond graduation.

Now they're the ones returning to campus, sharing their journey, answering questions, and reminding the next generation that they don't have to wait for permission to create impact.
