A Prince of Sapphires…coming 2025 🖤

My indie debut ~ A NA dark fantasy romance featuring enemies to lovers, the slowest of slow burns, angst, tension, trauma, PLOT, unhinged side characters, dystopian vibes, and all the delicious depravity one would expect from a vampire novel.

For the lovers of tortured antiheroes and tenacious underdogs 👌🏻

13.05.16 🥀

Once upon a time, a little flower fairy roamed the most beautifully quaint castle she’d only ever seen in her favourite storybooks. That day, as she danced and made colourful rose petals rain across old stones, she decided she would someday return as the princess bride in her own fairytale wedding.
Twenty-four years later…she did just that 👸🏼🤵🏻🏰🍂✨

Happy Easter, friends 🐇

Feeling like Üter from The Simpsons today…”Don’t make me r̶u̶n̶ 𝘸𝘳𝘪𝘵𝘦! I’m full of chocolate!”

It’s truly just a day of gluttony in my household. For those who celebrate, what’s your go to Easter treat? For me it’s 💯 a hazelnut Lindt bunny with a side of a dozen apple cinnamon hot cross buns.

Thoughts and prayers for my jeans tomorrow. And for those also celebrating with adorable little savages, thoughts and prayers for our bedtime routines tonight 🤪

Hope you all have a wonderful day xx

He’s an 11, your Honour 🧛🏻😈🖤

Are you ready to meet the blood-reddest of red flags? He’ll make you suffer, then make you thank him for it 🙂‍↕️

Thursday thoughts 💭

F•ck it 🤌🏻

“And up there so high in our Perspective Machine we realize that our lives are just like that of the firefly. Except the air is full of 6.5 billion fireflies. They’re glowing beautifully for one night. Then they’re gone. So, f•ck it, you might as well REALLY glow.”

Incase any of you needed the reminder, because I sure did.

A little spin on this trend and a little update…

Hello from the editing cave! I’m officially one third into this monster of a book, and while the facelift has been taxing, it’s slowly coming together into something I’m truly proud of. 180k is no easy feat to write let alone tear apart and piece back together again and again and again, but nothing worth doing comes easy, so this REALLY must be worth everything because your girl is tired 🤪

I’m excited to announce that my book cover is complete (the artwork 😭🤌🏻) and my website is on its way, which means…ARC’s WILL BE OPENING SOON!!!

I will post further updates regarding applications, feels surreal to be reaching that stage in this journey but I can’t wait to share this maddening world of mine 🖤

PS. I miss you guys and I’m sorry I’ve gone ghost mode lately…too many hats and all have made me a chaotic recluse.

PPS. This doesn’t include you, Fųckerberg, hands off 👊🏻

Tagged by the lovely @thereallifeveganwife 😘

Considering I’ve never done an introduction before, I figured this could be a fun challenge to play in.

So ask me anything, book related or otherwise 👇🏻

As always I’ve tagged some wonderful people but feel free to join in if I’ve missed you 😜

It has begun 👩🏼‍💻

Planned to post this for #wipwednesday but I’ve lost track of the days 🙃

I am back baby! Well, kind of. I still find myself staring at the same paragraph for close to an hour, wondering how audacious it is to not simply rewrite itself amidst my brain farts. Rude, honestly.

Not going to lie, I absolutely LOVE storytelling, but there’s much to be desired with editing. I LOATHE IT! The way my written words can magically morph into utter garbage the moment I return to them is exhausting. I know what I want to say so why won’t my words just say it 😭

In other news, my book cover art is finally completed and it’s everything!! I can’t wait to share it with you all and welcome it to my wall of inspiration. There’s really something about being side-eyed by your character’s portraits as you fumble and fight for the words to express them…motivating to say the least 🤪

Anyhow, I decided to add a peek at one of my opening chapter’s for shits and giggles 👉🏻
Don’t come at me about it, opening chapters are every author’s nightmare and I will die on that hill.

Enjoy xx

If you’re looking for a golden retriever, love declaring vampire then keep on scrolling because my MMC ain’t it. He is savage, ruthless and 💯 psychotic. He won’t warm your heart in book one, but much like our flushing Onòra, he’ll warm plenty of other places 😈
His arrogance is his Achilles heel and I adore the dysfunctional dynamics between his “all powerful” and Onòra’s “all pitiful” character traits. Unlikely allies fighting for the same cause…their freedom.

Another stunning piece by @karinagiada capturing Drystan’s “darkness transformation” 🖤
No easy feat with the intricacy of his demonic form but it turned out so beautifully 🤌🏻 by @myneverafter

One of my favorite character portraits I’ve ever done for the lovely @myneverafter. I’m so honored to bring her to life.
