A Woman’s Work is Never Done by Eliza Bennett (@elizabennett_art) In this 2011 performance piece, Bennett embroidered the palm of her own hand using a needle and thread, stitching into her skin to mimic the appearance of rough, calloused labor. By using her body as both medium and message, she subverts traditional notions of embroidery—an art form historically associated with femininity and delicacy—by turning it into a painful, physical act of endurance. The work highlights the invisible labor of women, especially in domestic or caregiving roles, and makes that effort viscerally visible through the act of self-inflicted stitching. It’s both tender and unsettling—an intimate protest against the undervaluing of “women’s work.” From @tonsil by @myreddreams
Various works by @reihuannn Recently discovered him and am completely obsessed with his use of strong colors and characters. Each photo is so unique in itself. The glimmer, composition, staging... everything is so eyecandy. Love this. ❤️ #art #photography #photoshoot by @myreddreams

Jeffrey Epstein photographed by Christopher Anderson (2015) Produced prior to Epstein's later criminal prosecutions and death, the photographs document a brief and ultimately aborted editorial commission that became shaped by the subject's attempts to control his representation. According to Anderson, the assignment was preceded by a meeting at Epstein's residence, during which Epstein sought to negotiate ownership of the images after publication. Anderson described upon entering the home that there was a clear level of heightened surveillance, based on encounters with Epstein's staff and observations of the domestic spaces that functioned simultaneously as offices. During this meeting, Epstein questioned Anderson about his working methods and the monetary value of the photographs, ultimately offering $20,000 to acquire them following publication. With the magazine's approval, an agreement was reached stipulating that Epstein would not see the images until after the story ran. In the days that followed, Epstein withdrew from the article and demanded the photographs be turned over immediately. When Anderson refused, citing the agreed terms, Anderson reported receiving escalating pressure and intimidation, including a visit from Epstein's bodyguard to his studio. As a result, the magazine canceled the story. Anderson then completed the transaction, surrendering the images and associated materials. The surviving photographs include a formal portrait of Epstein, images of him working in two separate offices within the residence, and still-life details of the interior. One image depicts a printed email exchange on Epstein's desk referencing financial correspondence with representatives of the British royal household. Anderson recently rediscovered the portraits on an old hard drive and published them to Instagram. The portraits now inherently take on a completely new meaning due to the massive government controversy surrounding Epstein's crimes and death, along with Anderson's experience throughout the process of photographing these portraits, and the fallout that ensued after they were taken. Four moons appeared over russia’s st. petersburg as a four moons appeared over russia’s st. petersburg as a rare optical phenomenon lit up the night sky. the spectacle, known as a paraselene occurs when moonlight bends and reflects through ice crystals suspended in a cold, frosty atmosphere, creating the illusion of multiple moons surrounding the real one. #moon #nature #obscure by @myreddreams
In the early 2000s, empty highways in Saudi Arabia became the stage for a wild underground scene called hajwalah (or tafheet). With no race tracks and few sports cars, young drivers turned everyday FWD sedans like Camrys and Corollas into drift machines, sliding across lanes at over 200 km/h. Desert roads also gave birth to another sport: “sidewall skiing,” where huge SUVs like Land Cruisers were balanced on two wheels — sometimes with passengers leaning out or even changing tires mid-ride. The stunts look insane but come with huge risks, and despite bans, fines, and jail time, videos still keep this outlaw culture alive. #driftlife #undergroundracing #2000s by @myreddreams
