Hi everyone!
I'm Anna , a self-taught artist who works with watercolor and colored pencils. Drawing has been my passion since childhood—it brings me joy and a sense of peace. For me, the creative process is like meditation, allowing me to express emotions and immerse myself in the moment. Welcome to my world of colors and inspiration!🎨✨

Ever wanted to create cool art but felt intimidated by a blank page? I decided to test a way to bypass that fear using a mix of tech and traditional tools. Here’s my little creative experiment!

1. I started by generating a unique image using AI.

2. I converted the image into a simple line drawing (like a coloring page).

3. I printed the outline on regular paper.

4. Using a light box, I traced the lines onto thick, high-quality art paper. It feels like magic—you just follow the glowing lines!

5. I grabbed my colored pencils and brought the piece to life.

Sure, AI built the foundation, but every stroke and shade is my own handiwork. Art is about the process and the joy it brings. Don't let "lack of skill" stop you—use the tools available and just start creating!

Sometimes the difference between “talent” and “result” is just time and practice.

The first photo is my Audrey Hepburn drawing from a few years ago.
The second photo is today’s version.
Not perfect. But much closer to what I see in my head.
The most important thing I learned is to not give up.
If you're in the process too — keep going. 🤍

Who does he remind you of? 🐆
Oriental Shorthair cats are pure magic and geometry. While I was working on this watercolor portrait, I kept seeing different characters: from a mystical elf to an ancient Egyptian deity.

Let’s test your imagination! What’s the first thing that comes to mind when you look at this portrait?
- Dobby the House-Elf 🧦
- An ancient Egyptian god 🐈‍⬛
- An alien visitor from another galaxy 👽
Your own version...

I step into the new year carrying only what matters:
Warmth, experience, and faith in brighter days🫶🏼.
A single suitcase is enough💼.

To achieve more natural shades in watercolor, I often mix colors by hand — searching for that perfect tone that truly speaks in the painting.

Swipe through the photos to see one of these custom shades in action 🖌️🎨

I love how even a small color adjustment can bring a subject to life.

Purple has always been a color of luxury and mystery. In ancient times, purple dye came from sea snails — it took thousands of shells to produce a small amount of pigment, making it rare and expensive.

Artists later used minerals like manganese and cobalt to create purple pigments for paint and watercolor. These shades brought depth and magic to their work, symbolizing power, spirituality, and creativity.

I still haven't found my perfect shade of purple 💜. I create them myself by mixing shades.

What’s your favorite shade of purple to paint with?

Bought a sheet of paper @st.cuthberts.mill Saunders Waterford cold pressed.
Oh my god, it's beautiful. Now I understand why so many artists love it. I think it could withstand a million layers of watercolor

When I painted this picture, which I saw a long time ago from @renne_lera and saved, I thought about the balance of fragility and sustainability of the nature around us.

Sometimes, you need to stop and appreciate the little miracles around us

It's time to apply colored pencils over the watercolor base. It's always one of the most pleasant moments for me.
I fell in love at first sight with this mouse that I saw on the page @renne_lera
