Takshashila was one of the most important cities of the ancient Gandhara civilization and served as a major center of education, trade, culture, and Buddhism in South Asia.
The ancient University of Ancient Taxila is often regarded as one of the world's earliest centers of higher learning. Students came from different regions to study subjects such as philosophy, medicine, politics, military science, grammar, and religion. Scholars traditionally associated with Taxila include Chanakya and Pāṇini.
Buddhism strongly influenced Taxila, and many monasteries and stupas were built there. The most famous is Dharmarajika Stupa, built during the reign of Ashoka in the 3rd century BCE to preserve relics of Gautama Buddha. The stupa later became a major pilgrimage and learning center for Buddhist monks.
Other important Buddhist sites in Taxila include Jaulian Monastery and Mohra Muradu, which had monasteries, meditation cells, and learning spaces for students and monks. by @nabeela.532663

In a society full of misogynistic men, it's hard to tell who is more patriarchal, who is more religious, and who is more obsessed with glorifying masculinity. Everyone seems to be competing to prove who's the ultimate macho man — the alpha male, the superhero, the X-man, and all that blah, blah, blah! by @nabeela.532663

A Groovy Kind of Love” ❤️
A timeless masterpiece by the legendary Phil Collins. His soulful voice, tender melody, and heartfelt emotion turned this beautiful love song into an unforgettable classic. Some songs never grow old; they simply become more beautiful with time. ❤️🎹✨ by @nabeela.532663
