Every character deserves a piece of the actor’s heart. A monologue about finding one’s own purpose after awakening from a long hibernation in depression. Cascata is a passionate, devout Italian nurse and healing from a deep wound, the loss of her sister. She loves gelato (her favourite flavour is fragola!) and deeply misses her niece, Giannina. But as she questions her religious faith and finds a newfound spark for life dancing to a silly song called ‘Pasta con tonno,’ she becomes fiercely determined to save her corrupted niece and end the evil in the world. Written by Charlotte Jennings @jenn.c64 Directed by Kenneth Michaels @michaels.kenneth Performed for MASKS & UNMASKING, a series of short plays and monologues. Next show 14/11 at 7:30pm @republic.ldn London E14 2BE 📸 by Paddy Gormley #london #theatre #actor #monologue #italiannativespeaker by @nabila.dolfini
