We’re bringing home a NACE One Award! Last week at the NACE Experience Conference in New Orleans, NACE Central Coast was named Chapter Education Program of the Year for chapters with 31–64 members. We were honored to be finalists alongside chapters from South Florida, Greater Denver, Phoenix, Las Vegas, Ventura, and Boston. Amazing company, indeed. Education has always been at the heart of what we want to create for our Central Coast events community: thoughtful, relevant programs that help all of us grow, connect, and do better work. Which makes our next program feel especially fitting. The Hospitality Gap: Why Clients Buy From One Vendor and Not Another Tuesday, August 18, 2026 3:00–6:00 PM Higuera Ranch We’ll be exploring what happens when hospitality is built into the entire client journey, from the first lead through the event and beyond. How do you create trust before someone books? What makes one vendor stand out over another? And what keeps clients coming back? We’ll hear from an incredible panel of hospitality-first professionals, along with the client perspective on why certain vendors earn repeat business for corporate events. The afternoon will also include light bites from Kullman Catering, wines from Derby Estates, tours of Higuera Ranch and a look at their new vision for the property, plus a Pop-Up Scent Bar from The Mayan Collective. Tickets are already halfway sold out, so this is not the one to wait on. Link in bio for tickets. Come celebrate this national recognition with us and join us for the kind of education that keeps moving our industry forward. by @nacecentralcoast
What a night at Eagle Oak Ranch. ✨ Our NACE Central Coast September Mixer brought together an incredible group of event professionals for an evening filled with connection, creativity, delicious food and drinks, live entertainment, and plenty of opportunities to experience everything Eagle Oak Ranch has to offer. Guests toured the Estate home, enjoyed live music from Dave Tate, dinner from Trumpet Vine Catering, tastings from Nosotros and Charbay Distillery, sparkling wine, an interactive Art Bar by Sparkle, Forever Jewelry, Synergy Photo Booth, professional headshots from Mooncrest Media, desserts from Just Baked, and music from Kramer Events. Even better, together we raised $1,500 for Family Care Network, supporting the vital work they do for children, youth, and families throughout San Luis Obispo County. ❤️ Thank you to everyone who attended, contributed, donated, partnered, and helped bring this evening to life. This is what the NACE community is all about—building meaningful relationships, supporting one another, and using the strength of our industry to make a difference. Kind is chic. And around here, we think it looks pretty good on everyone. For NACE Central Coast, that means choosing collaboration over competition and remembering that a stronger event community benefits all of us. It looks like learning from people outside of your lane, because some of the best ideas for your business might come from someone who does something completely different. It’s referring another incredible professional when you’re already booked—because there’s plenty of room for all of us to succeed. It’s sharing knowledge, making introductions, cheering each other on, and continuing to raise the bar for what it means to host an event here on the Central Coast. And sometimes? It’s simply gathering around a table for good education, good conversation, and really good wine. 🍷 Because our goal isn’t just to build better individual businesses. It’s to build a stronger, more connected Central Coast event community—and make this an even better place for people to gather, celebrate, and create something unforgettable. Kind is chic. Collaboration is powerful. And community is something we create together. You answered the inquiry. Your work is strong. The conversation felt good. And then they booked someone else. Why? That’s the conversation at our August NACE Central Coast Education Program: The Hospitality Gap: Why Clients Buy From One Vendor and Not Another Sales isn’t only about what you sell. It’s also about trust, communication, service, confidence, and how someone feels while deciding whether to choose you. Our panel brings five perspectives to the conversation: Jannine Enricuso, ACC | Ladies of the House Hospitality leadership + team culture @ladiesofthehouse.co Tracy Labastida | Field to Table Service, guest care + operational hospitality @fieldtotableevents Samantha Nason | Zest It Up Client trust + planning experience @zestitup Giselle Crout | Corvus Wealth Advisors The client perspective Ally Padua | Peregrine Hospitality Sales, tours + buyer confidence @peregrinehg If your business depends on serving people, building relationships, earning referrals, or getting someone to say “yes,” this program is for you. What makes a client choose one vendor over another? When pricing, portfolios, and services appear similar, the decision often comes down to trust, communication, confidence, and how the client feels throughout the experience. Join NACE Central Coast for: The Hospitality Gap: Why Clients Buy From One Vendor and Not Another Our panel will explore what clients are truly evaluating during the buying process, why excellent work alone does not always win the booking, and where businesses may unknowingly create gaps in their sales and hospitality experience. Following the program, attendees will have time to network, tour the Higuera Ranch grounds, experience a Pop-Up Scent Bar from Mayan Collective, enjoy light bites from Kullman Catering, and sip wines from Derby Winery. We’ll also have an opportunity drawing featuring a Derby Wines VIP tasting in their private room and a $300 gift certificate to Libretto. Tuesday, August 18 3:00–6:00 PM Higuera Ranch Tickets are extremely limited, so do not wait to reserve yours through the link in our bio. #NACECentralCoast #TheHospitalityGap #EventProfessionals #WeddingProfessionals #ClientExperience HospitalityIndustry CentralCoastEvents by @nacecentralcoast
What a fantastic evening at Laetitia’s beautifully renovated Estate House! It was such a treat to reconnect with familiar faces, welcome new members and industry friends, and soak in those stunning hilltop views of the Central Coast we all know and love. This space is such an incredible addition to our local event scene, perfect for corporate retreats, luxury stays, private dinners, elopements, micro weddings, and more. Our members enjoyed an incredible BBQ feast from Chef’s Table while SLO Perfect Beach Day and Lively Game Co. kept the fun going. All About Events, BBJ La Tavola, and our newest members, Shell Beach Floral Design, transformed the space with beautiful lounges, linens, and florals, while SLO Safe Ride transported everyone to and from the hilltop in style. A huge thank you to Mooncrest Media for capturing every moment. Be sure to check your inbox today for our recap eblast and full photo gallery. Next up, we’re headed to Solvang for our July Multi-Chapter Mixer at The Landsby! You never know who your next favorite out-of-area event partner might be.
