Counting is so much more than 1, 2, 3 - or even 2, 4, 6! Join us on Monday, November 2, 2026, at 8:00 PM ET for an engaging virtual workshop, “What Counts as Counting?” featuring Christopher Danielson @trianglemancsd Chief Academic Officer at CPM Educational Program and acclaimed author of Which One Doesn’t Belong? and How Many?

In this insightful session, we will explore how early counting grows and develops, becoming richer and more nuanced as it builds the foundational bridge to arithmetic, algebra, and beyond. Whether you’re looking to rethink early math concepts or deepen student reasoning, you won’t want to miss this opportunity to transform how we think about foundational mathematics. Geometry is anything but ordinary! Join us for the final session of the FREE NAEYC/NCTM Early Childhood Math Webinar Series - Is That a Quadrilateral? Non-Traditional Polygons & Polyhedra that Have Changed the World - with Imani Smith-Blackwell and Christina Lincoln-Moore.

Discover how to use rich math talks like Which One Doesn't Belong? and Which One Is Unique? to deepen children's geometric thinking. Inspired by the work of architects Zaha Hadid and Philip Freelon, you'll explore engaging ways to connect geometry, literacy, and project-based learning as students design their own imaginative structures.
