🔸Morgana Cosplay at Dokomi 2025 🔸

Photo and editing by: @taiga.pictures

Let's talk about my Dokomi experience this year 🫡 This year I had a mixed con that I would rate 4 or 5 out of 10. I can summerize it as stressful and badly organized.
But let's talk about the good things first: My boyfriend accompanied me this year for the first time. He got to experience how it is like as a handler and he was very patient with me the whole con 💕
I got many amazing photos taken and even had my first payed shoot with the sweet Taiga. This is also where this stunning picture was taken.
I was able to meet friends again or meet friends for the first time.
But and now we come to the bad things: Because I organized so badly this year I only spent very little time with people that I see so rarely. This made me really sad.
Personally, I always enjoy watching cosplay contests but barely could watch any this year. Because I had forgotten something at a booth and was only let in the hall after waiting 20 mins, I only saw 3 performances of the Dokomi Cosplay Contest. And because we basically did nothing but taking pictures before that, I did not want to drag my friends to the Summoners Sewcase catwalk. But there were friends of mine taking part in.
As I mentioned, half my Saturday was taking pictures. We arrived at the con at maybe 12, met up with a friend and went to take pictures. At the selfie booths we had to wait long and also at Summoners Sewcase.
Honestly, I don't want to talk about the weather. It did not make the con better and my cosplay was not suited for it at all 😭

After each day I felt like I didn't do much and didn't get to see much. Next year I want a better con experience, I want to plan better.

🔸Porcelain Kindred at Dokomi 2024🔸

This year I visited the @summonersewcase booth for the first time and it was very worth it. Everyone is so kind and patient 💕 You have a photo area, daily photo challenges, mini games and a daily group photo with LoL cosplayers.

I already cosplayed Kindred last year at the Dokomi and did some changes to level up the cosplay - the biggest one being the bow. But I also did another paint job and restyled the wig.
Kindred is my favorite cosplay so far while also being my first selfmade cosplay. It feels so nice walking around as Kindred even tho my movement is restricted. With the changes I made I felt even more confident and finally didn't feel lost while posing for pictures.
I am super proud of the result and so glad that I now have good quality photos 🥺

Being able take photos of deadlock cosplayers has been a dream for me for many months now.

When I saw there was a Deadlock meetup at Dokomi I just had to be there, and make sure to take photos of as many cosplayers as possible.

I only had about 5 minutes per Person but we made it work hehe. by @nagii_cosplay

To fill a book, one needs multiple Paiges 📖

Sanya and I met for the first time at gamescom this year and it was a blast. Loved meeting you, you truly are such a wonderful and pure hearted person 💕 Your cosplay slayed hard and I enjoyed cosplaying together so much!

I hope you had a wonderful time at gamescom and in Germany! One thing is for sure: No Hoyoverse booth was safe from you :D
It would be so lovely to meet you again next year ✨

🔸Paige at Gamescom 2026🔸
Since the Deadlock meetup at Dokomi worked so well (around 35 people attended), we thought "let's do another one at Gamescom". And boy, the process. 🫠

The main meetup would be on Saturday and we'd also do a smaller one on Friday since one person couldn't make it the other day.

As for the location there would be of course the option to do it at the convention center (maybe in the outside area between the halls) or do it in the nearby Rheinpark. Wanting to do everything right, we asked Gamescom if meetups for max 10-20 people are allowed. We knew it wouldn't be as big as it was at Dokomi, because Gamescom has much less cosplayers and the game is still unpopular. And they replied "no" so we had to do it at the park. The park that is right next to the convention but is a 15-20 min walk away.

Then friday came and unfortunately it came with quite rainy and stormy weather. That was the day when I was told that you cannot get back in the convention once you leave with a 1 day ticket. Which really sucks. I posted about it and hoped everyone would see so no one had half of their conday just taken. At the end on friday it was just me and that friend that couldn't make it on Saturday. We still had fun and at the end some sun! ☀️

With Saturday approaching we knew, we couln't do it in the park. But what else do? After some discussion we decided to meet in the convention center, just us frieeeeends. We were 5 Deadlock cosplayers and 5 others. Even found a drifter. Saturday was a success. 🎉

Would I recommend planning a meetup at Gamescom? Absolutely not. It is not made for that and the rules try to prevent anything. Best option would probably be to do it at the evening after the con. Meeting outside, maybe some food. Dokomi is the way to go with meetups! It has it's own meetup category in the program and the Nordpark is legit 3 min walk.

Let's talk about cosplans and convention plans :D

As for cosplans, I may do my first group cosplay for Gamesground in November. As many people out there I really loved watching K-pop Demon Hunters (already watched it 3 times) and I am in love with all of the characters. So are my friends, so maybe I will work on that ✨
Much farther away is the Dokomi 2026, where I will do Fern from Frieren if my friend cosplays Frieren again. I don't want to do an expensive or too time consuming cosplay like this year 🤞

As for conventions, I am going to attend the Gamescom on Wednesday and Thursday but I will be in civilian not in cosplay. As I said before, I'll visit Gamesground on Saturday and Sunday. And after that I don't really have set plans. MEX is an option, so is Polaris, but I have a budget right now and I don't think I'll attend them 🙈

I took inspiration from @nuriko.cosplay 's Morgana, especially for the tail (that you don't see in these pics but anyways). Go check them out, they are doing awesome cosplays ✨

🔸Paige at Gamescom 2026 🔸

This Gamescom I was part of @summonersewcase again and I wanted to use this opportunity to thank them!

This association is much more than a booth at cons. It connects people, brings joy and is a place to meet others that share the same love. You can play dozens of minigames, be photographed at the amazing photobooth, participate in daily challenges and win prizes, take part in their contents or catwalks, be part of the LoL group photo and much more. ✨

If you haven't been at their booth, visit them at Dokomi. Hope to see you all next year!

🔸Paige at Gamescom 2026 🔸
Gamescom this year was a blast. Let's talk about cosplay first. I am so happy I did the upgrades for Paige. It did A LOT. Of course it involved a little bit of con crunching but i survived, yay. Only sad thing: My contact lenses ripped 😭 Solution? Photoshop hehe.

This convention was the first time I got asked for an interview. In fact I gave 2. Uhm yeah but you know I was so focused on what I want to say that I completely forgot to asked what is was for. I mean they didn't tell me either xD So if you see me somewhere please send it to me uwu

Also met the lovely and wholesome @kamuicosplay at a meet and greet. And we took a picture together, yay! They even held my book.

Right at Thursday morning I went to @cosbase to take these amazing pictures. I just love the people there. So skilled and super friendly. And it is totally free. Go leave some love ❤️

🔸 Morgana Cosplay at Dokomi 2025 🔸

Photo and editing by: @taiga.pictures

This year was my 3rd Dokomi in cosplay and the first time ever to book a photo shoot. The most professional photos I had gotten before were ones from booths like Summoners Sewcase and Cosbase. But having a shoot in a location where you can move around freely takes it to another level.
I had my first booked shooting with the lovely Taiga. I love love love the photos she took. And the editing is so insane. I could not have spent my money more happily 😊
This year I stayed true to myself again and didn't practice posing because I again had no time. So I was a bit lost but Taiga guided me very well. I think the atmosphere in the pictures really emphasize Morgana's character and her design 💕 This is art!
And little fun fact: Of course I had to forgot her elve ear in this shoot 😭

I took inspiration from @nuriko.cosplay 's Morgana, especially for the tail (that you don't see in these pics but anyways). Go check them out, they are doing awesome cosplays ✨

I edited this picture some weeks ago and totally forgot to post it 😄 Like this much better than with a plain background.

Picture was taken at the @cosbase booth at MMC back in may 💕

🔸Porcelain Kindred at Dokomi 2024🔸

This Dokomi was a little different for me. My one friend group that would usually came did not make it this year sadly. So I spent time with other cosplay friends and made some new ones along the way 😊

A big part played @el_svento who was there for me all weekend. He even picked me up at my Air BnB 🥺 Had so much fun spending time with you Sven!

This awesome Arcane themed location was made by @walkiah.cosplay so go and leave some love 💕
