6 years of nails. 🤍✨

Six years ago, I told myself I need to be a nail tech.

At the time, I didn’t think I’d stick to it. I’ve always struggled with consistency in my life, but something about nails felt different.

I wanted more creativity, detail, and individuality in the industry, and to bring that into my own work in my own way.

So I bought a @cjp_nail_systems_official kit with my savings and started.

I shared my beginner journey online, and it connected with people in a way I never expected, my TikTok blew overnight, views, followers, engagement.

But the truth is, these six years haven’t been perfect.

I went through a lot and consitency has been one of my biggest struggles, and over time, I’ve had to learn a lot about myself because of that.

I’ve learned that it’s not laziness or lack of passion, my mind just works differently, and that’s been something I’ve had to understand and work with rather than against.

I’ve watched people start at the same time as me and go on to do incredible things, and there have definitely been moments where I’ve felt behind.

And I won’t lie, that’s been hard to sit with at times.
However, how can I be upset when I’m paying the price of my lack of consistency and creative block.

But one thing I know for sure, is my regular clients have always been my constant. They’ve trusted me, supported me, and kept me going more than they know.

I’ve also been lucky enough to join a salon that’s helped me grow creatively in ways I didn’t expect.
My confidence, quality in work and belief in myself is like no other.

So yes,

I’m not where I want to be yet… but I know I’m not where I started either.

My timeline is just a little different.

And I’m proud of that. 🤍

Thank you to everyone who has supported me over the past six years💖
