From sketch to the finishing touches ☀️🦋
WIP snippets part 4

This is the last one 🎉
Didn't like the sketch at all, but then added the watercolour textures, then I the colour blocks, then the shading, then the details and poof! it was done 😳
12 hours of continuous pushing through, from 10 pm to 10 am 😱

Prettiest and cleanest sketch of all 🤭 Quite unexpected, given that it was sketched on bumpy Balkan roads 🤣
Apparently listening to astrology podcasts while drawing puts me in a nice flow, what can I do 🤷‍♀️

Process video of drawing the pumpkins.
Painted the base shapes with watercolours, added some cute/weird/creeper little faces and the turned them into stickers!

What's the first place you would stick one? 🎃
I sticked 4 on my laptop, Halloween forever now 😅 by @naluca.illu

My entry for #slowdownartcomp2026 💛✨️

I've never tried putting my illustrations on woven blankets, do you like the idea? 😊 by @naluca.illu

October Hush is here - AND I MADE PUMPKIN STICKERS!
So I guess this makes it a Halloween special edition 🎃

Continuing the theme from last month somehow, October's illustration floats around the idea of movement. I used the tiny salt spots in the watercolour background to envision clusters of stars traveling together - or are they swarms of souls really? 😊

Remember the handprinted business cards I made? Here's how I made them!

I initially wanted to redesign my old ones, but then I had this idea and got really hyped up about it 😍
It was so fun to explore!

I am also surprised that I only ruined just 1 out of 16, I printed the second line of text upside down 😅
Anyways, having a few ruined ones is perfectly normal. Failing completely is also normal & there's a lot of learning there!

If you like this, save it and try it yourself ✨️

You'll get some genuinely unique business cards
and you don't evenneed a stamp, you can also print the text and cut it or write it by hand
