Found Through Fire By: J. Addison Wahl Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ This is my very first Motorcycle Club book ever and it was like stepping into a new world. I did find that while reading, I didn’t know a lot of the MC terms nor did I catch on with people’s MC names vs their actual names. I read this book at a much slower pace than I normally would but that’s okay. This was also my first ever why choose reverse harem book. I was going on so many different adventures with this read. Willow was amazing. I loved the energy she carried herself with. Her confidence, her energy, how devoted she is, and I loved reading her story unfold. She is so selfless and has gone through so much but it made her such a strong woman. I also loved the tight-knit family dynamics she had with her idiots and father, especially because she built a relationship with her older brother, Jackson, who she never would have thought to have met. Flame was SO flirty and obsessed with her right off the bat. Their relationship was full of flirty moments, blushing, and throwing secret glances at one another. It reminded me of the early stages of having a crush. You get butterflies, you blush, and you feel this sense of happiness and giddiness. Their relationship felt much lighter and easier. But Willow and Grey….that’s a different story. The had it all. There was tension, banter, slow burn, age gap, enemies-to-lovers relationship. They really got under each other’s skin but you could tell their attraction for each other was off the charts. And not to mention that he works for her father so there’s that line that they shouldn’t cross but clearly they want to. It was all so intense. And they’re purposefully annoying each other just to get a reaction out of each other. Their relationship was much more intense and complicated. This was honestly a great read. I did enjoy it for being my very first MC read. Here’s to more MC reads in the near future. 👻 Happy Halloween everyone 🎃 A little Halloween treat for you! A Pathway to a Second Chance By: Kayla Jones Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ This horror supernatural novella takes place after death and makes you wonder what happens afterwards. Is it truly the end or just the beginning? It explores topics of faith vs. consequences, guilt and forgiveness, searching for salvation, and has all the spooky horror feels. This book felt like being trapped in a nightmare. It felt as if every twist and turn there was another obstacle or a creature chasing after you. It was eery, it was fast paced, and it was exactly what I needed this Halloween. It really captured that feeling of being trapped and not knowing what would happen next. I read this at midnight with all lights off and it was the perfect way to immerse myself into this novella. Super short but definitely worth it. by @nanioreads
Vintage Vine By: Samantha Skye Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I was so excited to read this book and when I saw it was an ARC read I signed up right away. It had all my favorites…small wine country, banter, tension, age gap…like this book was just too perfect to pass up the opportunity. I was so excited to dive in. OMG! Immediately as I was reading I couldn’t help but LOVE the tension and the banter. It was all too good in this book. I was blushing and smiling like an idiot the whole time. And if you know me, those are my favorites in a romance book. AND it also had age gap…like this book was the PERFECT pick for me. Grayson being a grumpy and broody man and Harper being this ray of sunshine made them a perfect pair. But they also had so many similarities in them that it made them have great chemistry and they clicked together. I also truly enjoyed the way the author incorporated all the wine terms and varietals into their characters and their home/ cottages throughout their vineyard. I work in a wine bar and this book made me so happy and excited whenever wine terms were being used or simply just the idea of this story taking place in a wine country and a family that dedicated their life and their family to create wines was so touching to me. I also loved that there was a Tasting Note at the beginning of the book because it truly was the perfect touch and introduction to this book. Corky was also such a fun character. She’s the ultimate grandma out there. Reminds me a lot of my grandma. And she was honestly the best. I cannot express how much this book brought me joy and I cannot wait to continue the series! The PERFECT read! 5/5 stars TW: heavy topics are mentioned in the book please read before picking this book up Read if you enjoy: - Small town - Grumpy x Sunshine - Wine / wine country - Forced proximity - Suspense - Found Family by @nanioreads

Stranded with my Protector By: Paris Voss Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ What a great read. It was definitely time to pick up a billionaire romance and this was such a great choice. It was a quick read and it was so easy to get into the story. It also had a bit of suspense which is a bonus in my opinion. A billionaire romance with an age gap and best friend’s older brother…um yes please. How can you not want to pick this book up?!? And another great bonus was all the dogs Maisie took care of and worked very hard to protect and save. This was short, sweet, and full of fluffy senior dogs!!! Reminded me of my old man Chippie (swipe to see my old man chippie) Great read 🩷 Reading if you enjoy: - fake dating - Billionaire romance - Best friends brother - Suspenseful - Protective MMC - Grumpy x Sunshine - Age gap by @nanioreads
Unmasking the Mummy By: Sayla Masse Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Say goodbye to summer and the humid weather and hello to the crisp air and the crunchy leaves. This was perfect transition to my fall reads. And boy what a fun and quick novella. It has action, a mystery to be solved, foggy nights, mummies, curses, and some spice while still being light hearted and easy to read. The story starts off when Mary suddenly finds herself in a weird situation. Nothing feels normal. Suddenly, a new neighbor, Kevin, moves in and she can’t help but to be attracted to him. They both start to feel this crazy intense connection between them that is unexplainable. That’s when the true adventure begins as Mary and Kevin get thrown into solving a mystery that will get them the answers they were looking for. I will say I was a bit thrown off because I was expecting her to actually fall in love with a creature/monster but that wasn’t exactly the case. It was still a fun, light read that makes me excited for fall and Halloween. This was also much more than a short novella because I learned a lot about Egyptology along the way. Which also added to the plot and it made me even more interested. A great read for anyone looking for something short and cozy. by @nanioreads
Thunder, Thunder, Hunt and Plunder By: Mac Morrison Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ A great book for both tweens or adults. This book dives into an adventure and one that takes you in for the long run. This book was so much fun and enjoyable. I liked the riddles that were made in order to find the treasure. This added to the adventure and it was simply a great read. This book is perfect for those who enjoyed the Harry Potter or the Percy Jackson series. Similar vibes but different adventure. I just want to say that Squiggle was the BEST and his friendship with Tuck was the sweetest. This was Tucks coming of age story…he was learning how to be more confident within himself and ohhh how it broke my heart whenever he would talk down upon himself…but I’m glad he overcame that. I am seriously a Tucker fan! I was rooting for him throughout this whole book. And don’t get me started on Hatch…I really wanted Tucker to prove him wrong and that he did! Tucker found the best Murk-mates along the way and they made such a strong team and an even stronger family. Murk-mates for ever and Murk-mates for good! (See what I did there 😋) Can’t wait for another great adventure! by @nanioreads
The Sweetest Kind of Scary By: Brittany Evermore Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ This was a fun, cozy, and sweet fall read. And I was so excited to dive into this book because I’m a such a sucker for fall. This had all my favorites…sweet fall treats, Halloween activities, fall cozy vibes, and a cute romance. I was immediately hooked. I loved that there was a Cinderella type feel when she disappeared at midnight. This gave it such a cute vibe and it made it perfect for their love story. Lucy is such a sweet person. Her character development was amazing. She became this confident woman who realized she was more than what people expected (….Liam… 🙄😒) And she had the best people around her to remind her, like Cole. And let me tell you, Cole was head over heels in love with her. This man yearned for her for so long and seeing their love develop had me giggling so much. He had the biggest crush on her and literally LOVED everything about Lucy. As much I do love reading romance books that contain smut 🤭 I will say that it was refreshing to read a book with closed door spice. I do LOVE reading about the cute and the sweet side of romance. And this book captured just that. And the romance still made me smile and giggle which is a win for me 🥰 Also I wanted to add that I loved Poppy so much. She takes all the fall activities very seriously. And I only hope to become like her when it comes to this time of year. I want all the fall bucket lists and activities!!! The Witch Fix By: Kennedy Rhodes Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ My first fall read of the year and I can’t tell you how I excited I was to pick this up and get all cozy! First of all, the cover is GORGEOUS! This book immediately hooked me in. I’m just a girl who enjoys fall, cozy vibes, and books. And when I tell you I was so ready for fall, I mean it. I loved Sorren and Eva together. Right off the bat they had great chemistry. Sorren was the nicest and most caring demon to ever exist. And Eva, a witch struggling to get her magic in line, turned out to be just a wonderful and powerful witch. Her journey on navigating her powers was not an easy one for her, but watching her journey unfold was so fun to read. I mean c’mon she summoned a sexy demon! Who turned out to be a GOOD SEXY demon. This book had it all. From the witty jokes and humor, a cute cat named Catrick Swayze, all the yummy fall drinks and treats, and let’s not forget the all magic that was happening. Everything screamed fall. Grab your favorite blanket and favorite fall drink because this book brought all the witchy and cozy vibes with a dash of a sexy demons. Definitely a good one to dive into this fall. by @nanioreads
Yes, Chef By: Carolyn Faith Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Happy Release day!! I love LOVE! This book only added to the millions of reasons why I’m a sucker for romance. And this story went beyond just romance. It’s a story that pulled on my heartstrings and felt like a warm hug in the summer breeze. Let me just say that I’m a huge fan of Addie and Xander. This MAN had the biggest crush on her for YEARS. He yearned for her, he loved to annoy her while they worked together, he did things for her and remembered little details, and was the biggest teddy bear/ golden retriever. He was in so infatuated with Addie and just a SWEETHEART. Addie was also just a gem. I love our Queer Queen. I’m so grateful this book represented our LGBTQ+ community and also our mental health community because Addie was such a baddie (heehee that rhymed) I loved seeing her character start to let go, find that sense of freedom that she needed (because anxiety can be so draining and life consuming). She needed that push to remind her that anxiety doesn’t need to define her and that reaching out for help is not a sign of weakness. And of course everyone was so supportive of her. I simply loved this book so much and I loved all the characters that were a part of the story. From Jamal, to Corey, Axel, and her parents…they were all rays of sunshine and the biggest fans of Addie and Xander. This book was full of friendship, LOVE, support, kindness, and it was just a beautiful story that made me smile. Every second of it was so worth reading! Vallmossa’s Orb Part One: Irlen By: D.K. Blades Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Hold on tight because this book was an epic adventure you don’t want to miss. A dangerous fire breathing dragons…check, a quest for a magic relic…check, mages…check, a long journey…check, and a small army of full of mages, thieves, a monk, and half- orcs…check! This book was truly a treasure. From the moment I started the book an epic journey had just begun and I loved reading everything as it unfolded. You start off in a dark and scary world where all mages are killed off due to a dangerous creature that no one can defeat. You learn that Kalar is one of the last of the mages to exist and learn how he navigates his way around in order to achieve his ultimate goal…to seek revenge and defeat the one thing that has destroyed everything,Bautash, the dangerous and Great Red Dragon. I typically read Romantasy, because while I do love a great adventure, a love story thrown into the mix is my weakness but this book definitely helps me expand and reach for a new reading genre that I found interesting and never knew how much I loved. I enjoyed this book so much. I loved Kalar’s character development. He was a brave young mage who had the determination and fire in him to learn all the spells, skills, magical relics, and craft of the mages in order to go on his own adventure. Truly a brave one! And don’t get me started on the mini army of fighters that he formed…ugghh the friendship between all of them was so great. You got to see how they each ended up caring for one another and you see the growth in their individual personalities grow as the story develops. Overall this is truly a great fantasy story that had strong characters and a strong storyline. And this is only part one!!! I can’t wait to dive in to part two to continue this epic adventure!! by @nanioreads
