Mosaic for a pizza oven.
Or: a still life that gets hot at 400°C.
Made for @nanavastane — a Caucasian cuisine restaurant in Astana.
The dome needed to feel alive before the first pizza went in.
I think it does.

The video review of our first exhibition opening at TESSERAxADP Exhibition Space is here🔻

Watching it brings us right back to that day. Thank you @korpe_studio for capturing these moments for us!

If you couldn’t join us on opening day, we’d love to see you at one of our talks or welcome you to the space. Come by and explore the exhibition at your own pace. by @nastya.zharko

WHO REMEMBERS?
is the first exhibition at TESSERA×ADP Exhibition Space,
a new art space at Abu Dhabi Plaza in Astana.

The exhibition explores how the experiences of our mothers, grandmothers, and women we never knew live on in our bodies, gestures, habits, and even in silence.

The title holds two questions at once: What does a woman remember, and who remembers her?

Through painting, photography, textiles, ceramics, sculpture, and family archives, the artists explore where women’s memory lives, finding it in felt, embroidery, syrmak, chapan, ceramics, and an ordinary braid.

Participating artists:

* Altynay Baizhan
* Assel Tleylen
* Ayazhan Assymi
* Dana Mussina
* Ghazal Abbasi
* Gulbaram Askarova
* Laila Zharkyn
* Lizaveta Antropova
* Manshuk Yesdaulet
* Olga Mukayeva
* Shakir Sheker
* Sholpan Makhmudova
* Zhanna Assanova
* Yevgeniya Kazakova
*Anna, grandmother of Dina Akhilbekova

We are delighted to announce the official opening of TESSERAxADP Exhibition Space at @abudhabiplaza.official

Starting November 1, our exhibition space is open to everyone.

But for us, an exhibition space is about more than artworks and exhibitions. It is a place where cultural dialogue begins.

We want to meet with you, discuss art, introduce you to artists, share ideas, and create a vibrant cultural community together.

There are many exhibitions, talks, lectures, and exciting projects ahead.

We look forward to welcoming you all! 🔻 by @nastya.zharko

Tessera by tessera…🔻 by @nastya.zharko

We are TESSERA, a cultural accelerator and exhibition space.

Businesses need places people want to visit and return to. Artists need an audience and opportunities to share their work. We bring these interests together, transforming commercial spaces into cultural destinations.

We create exhibitions, art pavilions, and cultural programmes for teams and VIP clients — projects that give spaces meaning and help businesses build relationships with their audiences.

There are different ways to partner with TESSERA. Join one of our current projects or work with us to develop a bespoke concept tailored to your business.

Let’s explore what we can create together. Send us a DM or contact us on WhatsApp using the number in our bio. by @nastya.zharko

Thanks to an invitation from @indramax07 I recently had the opportunity to become part of @archica.ca and speak on stage about the importance of integrating art into architecture and landscape design. I also shared how @tessera.accelerator can support and facilitate projects of art including🔻

It wasa great honour to share the stage with such prominent international experts. Once again, a huge thank you to Indira for the invitation and for giving me the opportunity to be part of this event 🤍

It was especially valuable to hear from true leaders in the master planning of cultural spaces — @barkerlangham . @ahdinaida , @sholpamakhmudova and I even had the opportunity to take part in their masterclass and speak with the team personally

Another wonderful bonus of the forum was seeing friends. @dilyara.mazhitova and I had not seen each other for a long time, and at the forum she presented her ambitious audio theatre project — an absolute highlight 🤍

I was also very happy to see colleagues, including @krivetsnatacha with her private collection of tus-kiizs

A special thank you to our session moderator @rsurov for creating such a warm and comfortable atmosphere. It was also wonderful to meet new people and discover opportunities for future collaborations

All in all it was an incredibly inspiring and eventful two days 🤍 by @nastya.zharko

Caravan of Knowledge».

The final exhibition of the Art & Science Laboratory “Atlas of Future Rivers” took place at QUANTUM TECH School.

The exhibition became the final chapter of a large collaborative project bringing together two cohorts of the laboratory — from the first research and experiments to completed individual works, collective panels, sculptures, textile pieces, and spatial installations.

We would like to thank all the participants, artists, and the entire project team, as well as Zertte Studio, Caravan of Knowledge, and QUANTUM TECH School. Thanks to each of you, this project became possible and was finally presented to the public.

And now, we invite you to see “Atlas of Future Rivers” through the eyes of our visitors — here are a few reviews and impressions from the exhibition.

Thank you to everyone who was part of this journey! by @nastya.zharko
