Week 8/17/2026. Progress with activities that don't aggravate my knee by @nat__64kg

We needed this
🌞 🌊 ⛱️ 😎 by @nat__64kg

July 4th weekend I stumbled while hiking and hit the kneecap on my surgical leg against a boulder. The immediate pain dissipated after a few steps but I couldn't ignore the swelling that came on after certain activities over the next couple weeks.
Thankfully my ortho didn't see evidence of any ligament or meniscus tears but suspects a bone or patellar tendon bruise (MRI to confirm). These injuries take weeks to months to heal, some people need 1-2 years before running pain-free.

I won't lie, this has been demoralizing especially since I was progressing so well after last year's ACL reconstruction surgery. I was preparing to come back to the platform but instead I'm back on limited activity and rehab.

The only way is forward so I'll be back to basics for a bit. by @nat__64kg
