POSTS STORIES REELS
As I quickly approach 25 years as an esthetician, I’m pulled back to the 19 year old me. Growing alongside this industry has been filled with ups & downs. Taking risks- some good and some meant to lead you to where you’re going. Learning from the mentors I found along the way. Soaking up everything they were willing to share. Building other people’s brand, navigating legal parameters that challenged my livelihood. Rebuilding and relearning how to trust my instinct. Hiding away in a small suite without a sign on the door in East Dallas. Healing, pouring into my craft. Not the trends that are ever changing and exhausting. Learning on actual skin by touching countless faces. Each one, I feel so grateful for. I am where I am because of the trust you’ve placed in me as your esthetician. I’m going where I’m going because of your support. I can’t wait for chapter 2 of NBA soon. 💚💚 Happy National Esthetician Day. by @natalieburtaesthetics

Happy Thanksgiving! . . . This little room has been filled with so much love. It’s held space in difficult times & it’s allowed for many of our new chapters to begin. I am thankful for each of you for your unwavering support. . . *enjoy the behind the scenes of how I can sneak in lunch between clients (gloves in case of nut allergies) & forever fighting to smooth my sheets 😇 by @natalieburtaesthetics
quick gua sha. . . . be sure to hold your tool almost flat to your face, about a 15 degree angle. support each area using your other hand so you’re not dragging the skin. even strokes on each side and always end going down the sides of the neck. I used @haleandhush remedy oil to gua sha by @natalieburtaesthetics
ACNE + MENTAL WELLNESS . . . My personal journey with acne finally showed resolve when I took the time to prioritize my mental wellness. When your body is in fight or flight mode certain stress hormones like cortisol & androgens can increase. This can lead to more oil production. As someone that’s predisposed already, this exacerbated my acne. Not only that, the anxiety led me to pick at my skin. It was a continuous cycle I couldn’t break. Even as someone with access to all the tools, treatments & products. Sometimes it’s just not that simple. Our skin will always mirror what’s going on internally. I will always greet you with complete empathy, compassion & understanding in your skin journey. I will hold a safe space for you to vent, laugh, cry, talk it out or just enjoy the silence while we work. It’s always going to be more than what’s on the surface. It’s beyond skin deep so let’s remember to give each other a little grace. 🤍🤍 by @natalieburtaesthetics
