We are very grateful to @young_stage for inviting us back as a guest act this year, what an incredible experience. We first performed our act “No Longer Strangers” at the festival in 2019. So much has happened in the last six years! We were touched and proud to come back and share the evolution of our act and to be on stage with so many amazing artists. Thank you @nadja_berger_basel and the Young Stage team for creating such a beautiful and memorable event ❤️ #cordelisse #rope #duorope #youngstagefestival #circus #cirque #aerialarts by @natalieoleinik

Hello September 💛 I was very happy last year when my drawing was selected to be a part of @risooprint 2026 calendar! September has finally arrived and here it is: a selection of my Swedish landscapes printed in beautiful riso colors. Thank you @risooprint by @natalieoleinik
Two weeks in Luster, Norway 💛 Here’s some footage of what I was up to during my residency at @lustermikromakeri I was so happy to be in the studio on my own with plenty of time to hang on the rope, draw, find new connections and dream a little! I brought out my viewing cards that I originally created at the @elbow.room.lab in Finland Huge thank you to @eine.maristoknes for sharing some time with me in the space and for your inspiring conversations. And also for filming these shots of my viewing cards! And of course a huge thank you to Luster Mikromakeri and all of the wonderful people I got to meet in your beautiful corner of the world. I can’t wait to be back 💛 by @natalieoleinik
Last month I was an artist in residency at the wonderful @lustermikromakeri 💛 I am so grateful for the time I had there. I got to dive into my rope and drawing practices, I met wonderful supportive people and I experienced Norway’s incredible fjords. Here are some of the drawings that I completed during my residency. These are all in relation in some way to my rope practice. I will carry this period with me for a long time to come and I look forward to continuing my rope + drawing possibilities. Thank you Luster Mikromakeri ❤️ by @natalieoleinik
Participating in the last edition of the Young Stage festival in September 2025 as invited laureate artists was an incredible experience that we will always remember 🌟 #youngstagefestival by @natalieoleinik
Natalie Oleinik - Thank you for bringing your unique universe, generosity, and presence to Luster during our very first Artist in Residence. Bridging visual arts and circus, Natalie shared her practice shaped by movement and experimentation. During her stay, she explored the relationship between drawing and rope, creating a dialogue between line, gesture and colors. It was inspiring to witness how her different mediums intertwined and evolved into her own visual and physical language. We truly hope our paths will cross again, and Luster will always welcome you back with open arms 🤎 A heartfelt thank you as well to Creative Connections and Kreativ Sogn for helping make this residency! by @natalieoleinik
Memories from @antigelfestival this past February 🌟 We created a 12 minute unicycle piece for the event “La Nuit Je Lévite” Thank you Antigel for inviting us back and giving us the opportunity to create something new and share it with the audience! One week to go! Here is what to expect from the workshop: / Branching Out / discovering new qualities in circus movement Curiosity as our guide, this workshop explores how to create new pathways within each participant’s existing technical framework. We focus on learning to listen to the apparatus, the space, and to our own bodies’ comfort (and discomfort!) zones in order to discover surprising and personal ways to use our circus vocabulary. A deep dive into specific exercises on movement qualities, tempo, awareness on the apparatus, exploring and challenging our physical habits, and using the imagination as a motor for movement, this workshop gives practical tools for finding new relationships between bodies, objects and space. This research is conducted in a non-judgmental and shared creative space: it is an invitation to imperfection and exploration. This workshop includes Warm-up for the body and spatial awareness Floor work: exercises in quality of movement, tempo, and relationships to each other and the space Research with the apparatus (qualities, tempo, object manipulation) Guided improvisations rooted in practical tasks and in the imagination Sharing our work Cool down and stretching . #circusworkshop by @natalieoleinik
