Back to the roots: I have talked about my dance ministry many times and people always had a hard time to grasp the meaning behind it or what it would look like. Understandable, knowing that dance is not a usual part of most churches. And to be honest people have been judging our church many times and declared it a sect for whatever reason, which always made me wonder if the definition of a sect or a cult is actually entirely familiar. I don’t intend to downgrade the people saying this, but if we can praise a God we believe in with a choir, why not with dance aswell 🙂 it is a pure expression and basically a moving form of praying. To be honest many times I felt the embarrassment when talking about church, especially in Germany, because religion seems rather outdated and frowned upon here. But to be even more honest I am really happy and proud that my love for dance originates here. It is such a pure form with no competition or comparison but just a bunch of people praying and expressing their love for God through movement 🙏🏼 I love it!! And I am very grateful to have had the opportunity to join this project with @nessanutz & Kuya @dragonsheart16 !! Thank you so much!!🙏🏼♥️ by @ellaaschnoor

Remember that poll I did last year on which choreography to finish? Ya me neither 🙄
I finished this choreo months ago, so this is a throwback to last december. Looking forward to film this together with @marcpeskoller someday 😄😎🙌🏼 #gabebondoc #strongerthan #choreography by @ellaaschnoor

Another throwback to the @mdcgermany. This time with a pretty cool contemporary piece by @j.u.l.i.e.m.a.r.t.i.n. 🙌🏼 This was really fun and creative to dance with a lot of free space to do your own thing!! PS: it’s hard to overlook my mess up at the end! 😆#billieeilishburyafriend #contemporarydance taken in Köln, Germany by @ellaaschnoor

FINALLY after postponing for over a year: I am putting myself out there! 🥶 I have been scared of publishing my account and still am for several reasons (e.g. better dancers out there, too old for this, [...])
But at the end it always comes back to one point which I am certain of:
If I don’t do it, I WILL REGRET IT!!
So here we go! 💪🏼 This video is a throwback to the end of october in the @mdcgermany. My performance is not perfect in many ways, but I am still very proud of the result ☺️ Thank you to @johnnyvongratsavai for the beautiful choreography and fun class 🙏🏻 #zaynbetter #dance #puttingmyselfoutthere taken in Köln, Germany by @ellaaschnoor
