Getting To Know You Artist Bio Thingy....

Hey, my name is Nate Luna. I'm an artist from Portland, Or
I've been living and working as a part/full time artist in Portland since '99. I've been tattooing for a little over 10 years and have been involved in the local art scene since moving here from Seattle where I attended art school.

I consider myself to be a fairly versatile tattooer with my biggest strengths and influences in American traditional with a bit of a lean towards Japanese.... I'd love to venture further into the Japanese style in the future.
I'm always drawing/painting up new designs that can either be tattooed directly from my Flash Book or used as inspiration for a custom piece. Just pop into the shop if you'd like to browse through the Flash Book. Feel free to reach out at any time if you have a question, even if you're not quite ready to pull the trigger.

Aside from tattooing I work in illustrative/design work under Horsefly Design (@horseflydesign ). I'm always looking for new design/commission projects to get involved with.... just hit me up! And please give me a follow at @horseflydesign

I also make beats when I get the chance under @_dirtylenses_

I've also got two daughters and a few animals to keep me on my toes.

Here are a few concepts that I'd love to explore in either black and grey or color. They can be done on arms or legs (or even ribs!). Most can be done in 2-3 sessions.
This time of year is perfect for knocking out those bigger projects! Shoot me a dm if you'd like to discuss 🥂

Got to do this Creature of the Black Lagoon flash piece for Sarah the other day.

As much as i love to my flash pieces in color, black and gray is always an option! Don't be afraid to ask!

I just wrapped up this double piece mirror.
I'll be putting these pieces up on my Etsy store as I make them, but if you'd like to purchase before it hits the store just shoot me a dm to snag it up! I'd love for this to go as a pair, but willing to sell individually...I guess 🙄😅

Got to do this ditch spider below a recently healed cheeseburger for @madd.dabbs the other day. It turns out we've been working together for close to 10 years now! Time flies when you're doing dope shit!

This was a fun one from awhile back. I'm always into getting into the bigger projects. If you've been considering going a bit bigger, but me up and we can chat about it!

I'm really happy with the way this piece healed up on @madd.dabbs ...2 weeks old so a little shiny on the side the linework, but really stoked on how well it settled in.
