POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED
As we reflect on the success of our 1st half fairs and the lessons that were learnt while preparing for the upcoming fairs, the team and i decided that it was time for us to make some major adjustments.

All businesses that would be exhibiting from the Houston trade exhibition to Abuja must sign an agreement that staff won’t be seen loitering around and causing obstructions all in the name of looking for customers!

If you’ve done your marketing right, customers will come to you.

Kindly note that as we are growing older as a brand, both for me, Naijabrandchick, and for you business owners, it’s important that we change the narrative of how we do things and upgrade.

Thank you for your understanding. taken in Times Square, New York City by @naijabrandchick

I BUILT A PLATFORM THAT FLIPPED THE SCRIPT

For years, Hosting NBCTRADEFAIR we focused on promoting businesses.

Who had the loudest marketing.
Who had the biggest banner.
Who could create the most content.

At our trade fairs, I heard the same complaints over and over:

“Ma, the person beside me is also selling zobo.”

Or,

“How will I recover my money? Since I’ve paid for a booth, I have to bring plenty of products.”

But that’s where many people got it wrong.

Bringing too many products increases your logistics costs, creates clutter, and leaves customers confused.

So I asked myself:

What if we stopped selling businesses… and started selling products instead?

That’s exactly what we built.

Imagine walking into an event and instead of seeing “Korau Designs” as the name of the booth, you see:

“Leather Sandals” from ₦3,000
“Jollof Rice from N2000
“Imported Perfumes” from N15,000
“Adire for Men” from N3,000
“Hotel Bookings” From N20,000 a night

The spotlight is on what people want to buy, not who is selling it.

Every booth focuses on one product or one service.

Customers simply walk to what they’re looking for, whether it’s from a well-known brand or a business they’ve never heard of.

The product wins first.
The brand earns trust afterwards.

Of course, not everyone can come in.

But to work with us, you must have:
• Integrity
• Quality products
• Competitive pricing
• The capacity to deliver.

We’re not trying to gather the highest number of businesses.

We’re building a place where customers know they’ll always find incredible value, and where great products finally get the attention they deserve.

Watch this space.

Did you see the Somalian referee that was rejected entry into the US for the World Cup?

I also heard there are other teams that are facing the same issue.

Hmm, looking at what is happening in the US as they reject visas from some countries just brought back memories.

By this time last year NBCTRADEFAIR USA, some of the business that we got US visa for got rejected at the point of entry and it was all over social media.

The first thing people did was to bash me the organizer, there was no accusation I did not get.

No one sat for a moment to ask “why them” because this wasn’t personal, it was just the US doing their thing.

Also, this was happening at the height of US/ Iran issue.

I remember that the day some where to enter into the US was the day that US bombed Iran but guess what my people called me incompetent for trying to push Nigerian businesses globally.

Incident that could have happened to anyone they blamed the organizers, bashed me so recklessly.

Today watching the Somalian referee who wasn’t given a visa being welcomed like a hero made me realise that some Nigerians can never.

At the time you expect your people to support their own is when they will actually throw you to the dogs for breakfast.

Anyways, I am glad I took a break, my comeback will be loud and better.

Lots of mistakes I made before will never be repeated.
All that over familiarity, let me assist you with visa, let me do this and that, I no do again.

I refunded over 250 million Naira! Yes!
Let me not get into details of the past but a good name is better!

So now, Let’s all answer our father name 🥰

Meanwhile this World Cup I am rooting for a Brazil will
I maybe wrong sha!
