Champagne, fried chicken, and love 🍾🍗💐 We plan all year for Champagne & Fried Chicken, our annual @ldeibirmingham chapter fundraiser supporting women pursuing their passions in food, beverage, and hospitality. We just wrapped up another beautiful celebration @theodorebytreluna It’s a taste of Birmingham in a bag! Our signature reusable tote comes filled with a delicious picnic, flowers, bubbly, and everything you need to enjoy it. Behind every bite are talented Dames sharing their time, creativity, and love: 🍗 Southern fried chicken: Dames Lindsey Noto, Kay Reed, Maureen Holt, Crystal Peterson, Emily Tuttle Shell, Mary Grace Viado, Raquel Lenzie, Kimberly McNair Brock, Kristen Hall, Divya Bhattarai, Toni North, Clara Darling, Tricia Stuedeman, and Sidney Fry. 🍅 Vegetarian tomato pie: Dame Kay Reed of IZ Weddings & Events. 🥬 Spinach and artichoke dip with fresh pita: Dames Erin Mooney and Sara Walker of Tre Luna Catering. 🥔 Lemon, dill, and shallot potato salad: Dame Lindsey Noto of Feast Catering and Culinary Kitchen. 💚 French green beans with cherry tomatoes and red wine vinaigrette: Dame Joy Smith of Sorelle. 🍫 Homemade French chocolate cake: Dame Telia Johnson of Telia Johnson Cakes. 🍰 Sweet potato cheesecake with candied pecans and bourbon caramel: Dame Takeeka Goshay of Adored Sweets. 🍿 Birmingham Mix kettle corn, our cheddar and French toast blend: Dame Tanesha Sims Summers of Naughty But Nice Kettle Corn Co. 🥂 Bubbly: Terres Secrètes Crémant de Bourgogne. For our founder, Tanesha, this work is personal. In 2018, she was a scholarship recipient. Today, helping create that same opportunity for another woman is a beautiful full circle moment. Behind every scholarship are hands preparing, hearts giving, and people believing in someone’s next chapter. One way to people’s hearts is through their stomachs, and together, we’re turning delicious food into opportunity. 💛 Missed this year? Watch for next year’s picnic and our upcoming sweet treat fundraiser featuring a basket of goodies from our talented Dames! This is Poppin’ with a Purpose. 🍿 #SweeterTogether #ItsNotJustPopcorn #PopcornWithAP by @nbnkettlecornco
What happens when someone sees a community need and decides to do something about it? 🌽💙 You get @pepperplacefarmersmarket . More than 25 years of supporting farmers, growing local businesses, and bringing people together. Cathy Sloss Jones and her team helped turn a need into a vision, and we’re proud that @nbnkettlecornco has been part of it for the last decade. As an entrepreneur, it reminds me: keep the need and the vision in front of you. Whether community impact is part of your business plan or not, your business is making an impact. What kind are you choosing to make? We’re hoping to add a whole lot more sweet than salty. 🍿💙 Visit Pepper Place on Saturdays, 7 a.m. to noon. We’re sweeter together! #PepperPlace #BirminghamAL #SupportLocal #SmallBusiness #SweeterTogether by @nbnkettlecornco
