HAPPY 5 YEARS AT THE YARD NC 🫶🏼

And what a 5 years it’s been…Through lockdown when I realised our beloved wee studio was too small to allow for social distancing I, along with Colin, spent every second of the day looking for a new venue, we viewed so many, we had to go through countless places before finally sourcing THE YARD!! A place that no1 would ever think to have a Dance Studio!! At the time it was pretty much just a junk yard full of old scrap cars and dirt 🤣 the unit was just a big empty tin shed!! My family tried to put me off taking it - but we had a vision and knew just what to do with it! So many sleepless nights wondering if it was the right thing to do (lockdown and the fear of the unknown) Thank you to all my big seniors at the time & family who helped me scrub the place clean - it was BOGGING 🤣 We spent time coming up with the idea to board all the walls to get away from the tin shed look and make it homely for our dancers ☺️ We’re still super grateful to all our dance dads who added the wood to the walls and made them my favourite colour for me 🖤🤪 We pulled so many all nighters with dominos pizzas until all the work was done 🫶🏼 The transformation was spectacular and we’ve shown just what could be done with these units. Since then it’s just been non stop improvements for our dancers because…they deserve it 🤩

Thank you to everyone who continuously supports and puts their trust in us at NC/The Yard! Thank you to all the amazing companies who hire our venue for their projects. We will never stop pushing and improving for you! Here’s to the next 5…💃🏻
