On Saturday, our pilgrims walked the final stage of St Aidan’s Way. They set off from Holy Saviour Tynemouth, stopped for lunch at St Peter’s Wallsend before arriving at @newcastlecathedral for a special Eucharist Service as the sun was setting.

Over eight stages, our group of pilgrims have shared in friendship, prayer and meaningful conversation, journeying together through the beauty of God's creation and reflecting on what it means to walk in St Aidan’s footsteps. by @ncldiocese

On Friday, @bishopofnewcastle was delighted to be invited to visit the Beatrice Community Garden Project in Blyth, alongside MP Ian Lavery, where they met the dedicated volunteers bringing this project to life. Still in its early stages, this fantastic community initiative is already growing into a welcoming and inclusive space where different generations can come together, learn new skills, build connections and discover the positive impact gardening can have on their health and wellbeing. 🌱🪴 by @ncldiocese
