Witness: Nico Asprec @ncsprc | #LeicaFilmFriday

It’s my first time shooting film again after a long time. As a professional photographer and someone who teaches college students, I do not often get to photograph random everyday things because of work. So when I had the chance to try the Leica IIIf for a project, I decided to simply photograph ordinary moments without thinking too much about them.

What I liked most was the freedom. I could just snap away without being too conscious about the image. It reminded me that photography can also be light, intuitive, and personal.

Rooted in Time

An exhibit piece exploring the human body as a living archive. A 40-year-old face tells stories of growth, labor, and resilience. Aging is not decline—it’s accumulation.

Beauty and creativity don’t fade. They remain present, evolving, and rooted in time.
