The ability to experience life immersed in different cultures is invaluable. There is a significant perspective shift that occurs when someone gets to travel internationally, and much of that perspective stays with them forever. Especially for college students, who may struggle to find the funding for a trip like this, donating any amount of money could be the difference between someone being able to have a life changing experience such as international tour. — Student Testimonial We’re not done yet!💚💛 If you’ve been meaning to give, there’s still time to support NDSU Concert Choir and help more opportunities like these. I got to experience a different world from my own through something I love; music. I got to meet new people from around the world and realize they are not that different. As a musician and an academic this experience has made me a better person. Anyone would be blessed to have this opportunity. It brings not only the choir together but the world. We need to share who we are to create a culture of belonging. This trip was that and I know that at least one person in the crowd per night was moved. That is all I could ask for. —Student Testimonial There’s still time to support NDSU concert choir on Giving Day.💚💛 Your gift helps keep these amazing experiences possible for current and future students, and you can donate through the link in our bio. by @ndsuconcertchoir
From the big and vibrant cities, to the small towns and nature, Sweden and Norway are the counties to visit. The people, the culture, and the choral opportunities were once-in-a-life-time memories I am grateful to have. This trip has gotten me closer to my voice and the people I sang with. Music is what brings people together, no matter how much fear and hate there is in the world. For us to travel and collaborate in telling stories, create powerful relationships, and see how vast and beautiful other choral traditions are is what shapes people into better versions of themselves. —Student Testimonial The day isn’t over yet! 💚💛Help us continue to create unforgettable opportunities for NDSU Concert Choir students by making a gift through the link in our bio. by @ndsuconcertchoir
It’s beautiful how simply being in another place on this Earth can have such an impact on a person. For me, singing with the Oslo Kammerkor has by far been the most impactful for how it has changed my mindset on professionalism and artistry. In the United States, we place such an emphasis on striving for perfection. Oftentimes, this looks like rehearsing pieces over and over again, going through and fixing difficult spots, and wearing fancy clothing that make us seem neat and organized. While this makes for an impressive performance, singing with the Oslo Kammerkor showed me that sometimes professionalism doesn’t look like a well-rehearsed performance. We view singing the wrong notes as “getting the music wrong”, but to the Kammerkor, there are no wrong notes. No matter what a performer does it’s the right choice because it was their choice. — Student Testimonial There’s still time to make an impact on NDSU Giving Day! 💛💚 Your support of Concert Choir helps fuel life-changing experiences for students, and you can give right now by using the link in our bio. by @ndsuconcertchoir

🎵 by @ndsuconcertchoir
