Knightsbridge has a way of making you feel like you are exactly where you are supposed to be 😎 Had a meeting at Jumeirah Carlton Tower and arrived to find one of London’s most beautiful hotel interiors waiting for me. The light, the details, the quiet luxury of it all. Ended up shooting the whole thing obviously 😂. 📍 Jumeirah Carlton Tower, Knightsbridge, London. #JumeirahCarltonTower #LuxuryLondon #LondonHotels #LondonLife #bigbollywoodbuffs by @neber_haque

An iconic and truly remarkable evening at the Royal Albert Hall, as the legendary Kavita Krishnamurthy returned to this prestigious stage after 48 years! ✨

What an unforgettable experience to witness such an incredible legend perform live, especially from the front row. A truly special and once-in-a-lifetime moment!

A heartfelt thank you to Sanatan Events for bringing Kavita Ji to London and creating such a memorable Diwali celebration. The beautiful blend of devotional melodies and timeless Bollywood classics made the evening even more magical. 🪔❤️

Between the concert and the backstage interview, we found ourselves in the most beautiful lounge inside the Royal Albert Hall. Cosy, warm and quietly elegant. Sometimes the in-between moments end up being just as memorable as the main event.

What a night.

We got backstage at the Royal Albert Hall on Diwali night and sat down with the legendary Kavita Krishnamurti for an exclusive interview.

Fresh off the stage, she spoke about what it feels like to return to the Royal Albert Hall after 48 years, the songs that carry the weight of people’s most intimate moments, and the concept of the show- a beautiful blend of devotional and Bollywood songs. Every answer was thoughtful, unhurried and deeply personal.

This is the kind of conversation @bigbollywoodbuffs was built for.

She also wished all our viewers a very happy Diwali 🪔

One of those nights you don’t forget. Kavita Krishnamurti live at the Royal Albert Hall on Diwali night, front row, right next to Dr L Subramaniam who was recording the entire concert himself. And then after the show, a backstage interview and a picture with her.

A voice that has been part of so many people’s lives, including mine. Seeing it live, that close, on that stage, on that night there are no words that quite do it justice.

Grateful doesn’t cover it.

Chinese street food that actually delivers. Murger Han in Euston has been on my list for a while and it did not disappoint.
I actually visited their Mayfair branch about a year ago and enjoyed it, so when the chance came to try Euston I didn’t hesitate.
We went deep into the menu potstickers with that perfect golden crust, rou jia mo buns packed with flavour, a rich hot pot broth that warmed you from the inside, and noodles that hit exactly right. Everything came out well and the portions were generous enough for a proper group spread.

The vibe is relaxed and unfussy. No pretension, just good food and a warm atmosphere. Exactly the kind of place you want to stumble into on a cold London evening.

If you haven’t tried Murger Han yet, add it to your list.

Walked past this door three times before I found it 🚪 UMU in Mayfair hides behind a wooden panel on Bruton Place. Press the button, and you’re in Kyoto. Full verdict in the video. #LondonFoodie #MayfairEats #JapaneseFoodLondon #UMULondon #londonrestaurants by @neber_haque

Udta Teer had a genuinely clever idea. A spy loses his memory after an explosion and forgets which country he actually works for. Patriotic to his core but loyal to the wrong side, he starts dismantling his own terror network from within without realising it. On paper, that is a great comedy premise.

The problem is the film never fully commits to it.

The best moments come from the edges. Gulshan Grover having an entire conversation with the Chinese president in Chinese. The Pakistani PM waiting day after day just to get a meeting with his own general. Azhar Maqsood stuck in a tight spot muttering about needing Ozempic when he gets back to Pakistan.

And then there are the nepotism jokes, which land hardest precisely when Sara Ali Khan is on screen. The film seems to know exactly what it is doing there.

Ayushmann Khurrana in spy mode is a fresh look and he carries it well. But when your supporting cast is funnier than your central plot, something has gone wrong.

A film with this much wit in the margins deserved a stronger centre.
