Indulge the senses. by @nest.tree.houses

Some of the best things on your Bubbles and Bites platter come from just up the road.

The salmon is from @highcountrysalmon a family-owned farm in the glacier-fed canals near Twizel. They’ve been raising Chinook salmon in those cold, clear waters for over 25 years.

Depending on the day, you might find hot smoked manuka or oak, silky cold smoked, gravadlax, or their honey and thyme. Come summer, maybe gin and lemon cured.
Pour a glass of something good, soak in your sunken hot tub and savour the flavour of the high country.

No rush. The view’s not going anywhere. by @nest.tree.houses

Our valley gives a lot to the people who visit.
Now it’s our turn to give something back.

The Waitaki Valley Health Hub is almost built. A community-owned space in Kurow for primary and emergency care, rehab, wellbeing and more. In rural places, every minute matters.

Whether it’s $10 or $500, it all adds up. Donations over $5 are eligible for a tax credit too.

If you’ve stayed with us and left a little piece of your heart here, this is a lovely way to look after it. 🤍

Link in bio, or search “Waitaki Valley Health Hub” on Givealittle.

Slide on the slippers with a robe, and wander over the swing bridge to a morning steam in the cedar barrel sauna for the most indulgent way to start the day. by @nest.tree.houses

There's something about getting away from the usual distractions that makes the best conversations happen.
The ones that start with “Do you remember when…” and somehow turn into hours of laughing, dreaming and putting the world to rights.

The secret?

There’s also a treehouse sauna 🧖

There are two private cabins - both are made for couples/two people and have all the luxuries of a 5 star hotel.

Think we just found one of New Zealand’s coolest hidden gems!

Tucked away in the trees, Nest Treehouses is such an epic little escape. Waking up surrounded by nature with views like this is pretty hard to beat.

Definitely one for the NZ bucket list. by @nest.tree.houses

Busy has a way of drowning everything out.

A few days at Nest turns the volume down.

I mean, you can also do both 🌱💦

You'll notice the view first. Everyone does.

Then, slowly, the rest.

The swings. The hanging chair that's somehow in exactly the right spot. The snacks you didn't ask for but absolutely wanted. The linen you'll spend the next month trying to track down.

Small things. They add up.

None of it is accidental.
