Capturing meaningful moments of connection between people, nature, and places, with care, slowness, and respect.

When I received an Honorable Mention award in the @theflowtrip 2026 Photo Contest presented by @kodak, I knew it wasn’t as much for me as it was for this little green parrot.
I felt like I had simply been in the right place (@yanacochawildlife rescue centre) at the right moment. But yes, perhaps I was meant to be there, to notice and to capture. 📸

As Rick Rubin writes in The Creative Act: “No matter what tools you use to create, the true instrument is you. And through you, the universe that surrounds us all comes into focus.”

So I hope we all remember to keep creating, because the outcome of our creations is always so much bigger than us.

This little green parrot may have lost its ability to fly, but it clearly hasn’t lost its creative act. 🦜

Thank you @theflowtrip for not only the award but also such a neat spot in the Photo Issue! Eeeeeee ❤️

YanaCocha, Part 1. 🌿

I absolutely loved taking my time capturing the behaviour and curiosity of each animal we encountered. 🤎 We would have easily stayed the whole day if we could. There was something deeply genuine about the place, a sanctuary built on respect, care, and second chances, where many animals now live in semi-free environments after being rescued from captivity, the pet trade, or illegal wildlife trafficking.

Rescue center located in Puyo, ‘carrying out important work to benefit the conservation of flora and fauna in the province of Pastaza’.

Personal gallery moment of pure magic from Lipsi. ✨ Celebrating Vaggelitsa and Antonis. ❤️ Bringing analog to weddings became my go-to this year and let’s be honest, film just hits different. 🥹

postcards from Algarve 🍊

I was browsing my archive when I came across these photos from February 2024, captured in Portugal.

I started visiting the Algarve regularly when I was living in Cornwall, as the connection from Newquay to Faro was just unbeatable, and the weather and waves were so often tempting.

To this day, this coastline remains one of my favourites. Beaches carved into limestone and volcanic rock, shores strewn with shells, and houses adorned with them. 🐚 Have you visited? ✨

Sunday in Lipsi. I felt brave and decided not to bring my camera for this weekend trip to the island. So here are some unpolished moments from around the coastline of Lipsi, a small island in the Dodecanese reachable only by a boat. 💙 by @nestedinnature_photography

so excited to now gather with all of my winter muses 🍄

I can’t remember exactly how I first heard about this place, but somehow, we knew we wanted to stop here before continuing north through Central Macedonia toward our main destination, Lake Kerkini.
This is Mouries Forest, also known as the “Thousand Trees” ~ a rare wetland forest and protected natural monument, home to centuries-old trees, some more than 400 years old. Oaks, alders, plane trees, willows, and ash trees grow along the shores of Lake Doirani, right on the border between Greece and North Macedonia.

I do have a vivid memory of seeing a photo of the submerged trees and thinking how much I wanted to see this scenery for myself. Where I came across that photo, I have no idea. But when we finally got there, it was definitely a stop worth making.

I’d love to come back one day in spring, when the whole area is covered in shades of green.

The last whispers of summer. [featuring @ioannavarka for @madeofwateruk]
Now we’ve stepped through the threshold of the equinox, the change of season has definitely arrived. The golden hour is stretching out as the sun sits lower and lower each day. I love the novelty of early autumn. The air gets crispier, the sky carries more clouds, and the night arrives in a shorter window with each passing day. And as winter starts creeping in, everyone seems to appreciate the warmth of the sun on their skin just a little bit more than usual.
I feel it’s the contrast what makes each season even more exciting. 🌞🍂
