POSTS STORIES REELS

So yeah, I'm Bowie Fae and my sona is finally finished! (Be sure to swipe for her different outfits!) I'm so happy with how she turned out, and yeah I did cheat a little by making my sona a fusion but I think it still fits me. Hopefully, I'll be able to update and redraw this post every year with new stuff.

Rainbow High x Carebears Part 2: (6/6)
👑
Hello everyone, and welcome to finale of this little art series that was inspired by the RHxCB collab that's coming soon. Basically, I just wanted to add more characters to the collab but hopefully still fit within the line. As I was designing these I had a few notes to keep in mind to achieve this:
1) There must be some type of fur/fuzzy fabric on the doll.
2) The carebear's belly badges have to be present in some way. But if they aren't, the face of the carebear can replace it.
3) Each doll in the original line seems to have a pair of bear ears so I have to include those too.
👑
And finally, it's Tiara Song and Care-a-Lot Bear's time to shine! Tiara was the last one I designed and she originally wasn't going to be part of this series. However, it felt odd having a character for each color of the rainbow aside from purple. Aside from Karma, her outfit might be favorite! Anyway, Tiara's ears are placed at the top of her hat and on the front of the hat is actually the castle from Care-a-Lot Bear's belly badge. It's meant to be reminiscent of those custom y2k rhinestone hats. All of the fur in this design is multicolored to match Care-a-Lot. She's got a rainbow choker, and all of the little stars around her design are the colors of Care-a-Lot's cheek stars. And for my favorite little detail, we've got Tiara's hair tinsel which are all the colors of Care-a-Lot's little tummy rainbow. by @new_salem_sleepaway

Hello everyone, and welcome back for part 5!
🌜
Today we have Robin Sterling and Bedtime Bear. She's got a fur lined robe that Bedtime Bear is getting cozy with. A matching set outfit with moon and star embroidered details. Robin's bear ears are on her sleep mask along with Bedtime Bear's sleepy face. Her earrings resemble his belly badge too! But my favorite details are the "eye bag" style of makeup, and her super long gorgeous curls. If I ever get my hands on a Robin doll, I'm gonna turn design this in to a custom doll. by @new_salem_sleepaway

It's Karma Nichols and Good Luck Bear's Lucky day! She came out so cute imo, everything came together so easy and I love it 😭💕 She's got the cutest visor with bear ears and a clover shaped piercing. Hair buns that are shaped like clovers. Kia's jeans and boots are covered in green fur. Tbh clovers are everywhere in this design so I won't list every single one but I will point out her clover ita bag that's filled with Good Luck Bear trinkets! by @new_salem_sleepaway

Up next is Sunny Madison and Funshine Bear! I was actually really disappointed that Sunny seems to not be a part of this collaboration. She's literally perfect for it and for the life of me I can't figure out why they didn't include her. Her absence is what inspired the idea to add more characters and she was the first one I designed in the series. I might go back one day and give her more detail but aside from that, she's got bear ear hair clips with ribbons that are meant to mimic sun rays. Some adorable curly pigtails. A fur lined bolero and some fuzzy legwarmers to match. The little details on her legwarmers would function as those plush pins. Funshine bear is also present as a bag charm placed on her skirt. And my favorite part is the sun pattern at her elbows! by @new_salem_sleepaway

Today we have Poppy Rowan and Friend Bear! Poppy's got orange fur trim on her top, shorts, and boots. Her bear ears rest at the top of her headphones that also feature two yellow flower covers and a green chord to mimic Friend Bear's belly badge. She's got many flower details on her top, boots, makeup, and even her necklace and phone charm. And speaking of her phone, Friend Bear is on her lock screen. He's also featured as little charms in her accessories.

Starting off with Kia Hart and True Heart Bear, Kia's bear ears take the form of two scrunchies that secure her massive heart braids. The colors of True Heart Bear's belly badge are featured in Kia's rainbow bangs. And the belly badge is front and center as Kia's belt buckle on her fur trimmed jean skirt. And it's also printed on her legwarmers. A more abstract version of it is among Kia's airbrushed top which says "True Heart". She's got some star shaped accessories like her bag and hair clips. And finally, some tiny little hearts on her cheeks.

🦷 Only 5% of the ocean has been explored and viewed with human eyes 🦷

👁️Reporting live, mansters and ghouls have been spotted looking freaky and fabulously terrifying👁️

🦷 So going in to this I knew that I wanted to attempt to capture my fear of the ocean. I was mostly inspired by Charybdis, fish with false faces and eyes, and the thought that you'd never be able to see a massive deepsea creature below you until it's too late. Also ngl I was very in to subnautica 2 while I was making this and yes I was horrified every minute of playing it. So I think their style of alien looking fish kinda seeped in to this. 🦷

There's been a Monster Mixup! Lost in the Boogeyman Mansion the ghouls' souls come undone as they get all the boogey-sand mixed up! Now the ghouls have new monster types!

I was tasked with turning Iris in to a ghost, and to do that I knew I wanted to keep her as recognizable as possible. So I kept her pigtail twists but made them a little thinner and had them attach to her hair buns with chains which is a popular motif of ghosts in the mh universe. I also wanted to reference her one eye without making it look like she still only has one. So I gave her those massive bangs to cover her other eye. And as for her fashion, I took a bunch of inspo from her original look (the vest and color scheme mostly) But I angled it more towards 90s-ish whimsigoth fashion. And since she really likes space I made her skirt space inspired with her zodiac constellation on the front. (She's a Pisces btw)

While I was working on my last collab post, I was inspired to make a little comic involving Dolly and her troubles with how she was created, the nightmares that have persisted since, and the sudden appearance of a sleep paralysis demon. Hope you enjoy <3
.
.
.
.
#monster #monsteroc #ocart #ocdrawing #comic

As Dolly sips from her chamomile tea, the warm hum of her bedroom fan fills her ears. She's desperate to sleep and yet, can't find it within her to do so. She knows what awaits, night after night... A barrage of nonsensical images that relentlessly attack her view is just out of reach. As she finally drifts off under the light of her ever active phone, she sees herself waiting in the dream realm. Simply, herself. She even hears herself talk. Maybe tonight will be different?

One voice, Dolly's voice, split to five. They layer themselves all to remind her, she was never meant to exist at all.

It was him all along; for the ninth night in a row, now. Dolly knows she shouldn't blame him, he's just doing his job. But it's difficult not to resent what he brings about each night. No matter, she'll see the demon at school in a few hours anyway...

This is the art that inspired the comic, I'd appreciate it if you went to that post and gave some love to the host of that collab. After all this comic wouldn't exist without them <3 by @new_salem_sleepaway

🎀 As The World Falls Down 🎀

Dreamcore Tea Party Collab
Hosted by @mat.ali_mhbun

Dolly's taking a trip to dreamland for a teaparty! Her look is mostly inspired by movies like The Labyrinth and Alice in Wonderland. Her vest also has some cute little bunnies wearing crowns that mimic Dolly's crown and her little hair braids. (I just wanted to point it out because I thought it was cute lol)
