33! Younger me could have never guessed I’d become such a parkour nerd. Thank you everyone for coming out to celebrate 🫶🏻 #parkour #halloween2026 by @newfangled_axes
FAIL. LEARN. EVOLVE. It’s OK to suck at something new! I had the amazing opportunity to learn from @newfangled_axes and step outside my comfort zone by trying something I’m not particularly good at. And that’s the point. Whether it’s a new sport, activity, or movement you’ve never attempted, you don’t have to be good at it to get something out of it. Surround yourself with people who are better than you. Ask questions. Try things. Make mistakes. Learn from them. Keep challenging yourself. Every time you push beyond what you’re comfortable with, you create opportunities to build confidence, develop new skills, and discover what you’re capable of. And there’s a physical side to this, too. Exposing your body to different movements, positions, and challenges gives it opportunities to adapt. You’re developing coordination, strength, balance, body awareness, and the ability to solve new movement problems. There’s so much more to physical fitness than going to the gym and chasing a six-pack. There’s nothing wrong with wanting to look good. But I also want to know what my body is capable of doing. A six-pack might look great in your 30s or even your 60s, but appearance alone doesn’t tell you how well you move or what you can physically accomplish. I want to be able to run, jump, climb, play, explore, and move my body until the day I die. Don’t be afraid to be a beginner. FAIL. LEARN. EVOLVE. by @newfangled_axes
Chill pre and post comp sessions Vancouver is prob one of my favorite cities to visit. Thank you @ohjessdo and @jaxonwong.cc for hosting me and really making my time here exceptional 🙏🏼 #community #parkour by @newfangled_axes
@uspka Nationals is a wrap! Next stop, Vancouver. The challenges set by @meganmcqueen_ were tons of fun, and I was so proud that 2 of my @vortex.freerunning students made it to the skills finals with me 🥹 The juxtaposition of @sashapricecinema and Sky to me is comical Didn’t quite perform how I wanted, but am better and stronger than last year. I believe I have much more progress to be made. Excited for the power block of training until SPL. Thank you @hubptc and all of the volunteers and staff that made this happen ! by @newfangled_axes
I really wanted to train today just to get that Kong pre 😆 I’ve taken on more spooky and uncomfortable challenges lately in both my parkour and professional life + I appreciate my friends and family for believing in me and for cheering me on 🙏🏼🙇🏻‍♂️ #progress #parkour #losangeles by @newfangled_axes
