I almost talked myself out of teaching this class.

I hadn’t taught since 2019, and honestly, I started questioning whether I was still qualified. But on my way to class, I prayed—and God reminded me that braiding isn’t just something I know how to do. It’s deeply rooted in me. 🤎

Since I was 13, braiding has been connected to family, memories, culture, creativity, and purpose.

This class reminded me that I haven’t lost my passion. I just needed to reconnect with it.

And it reminded me why strong foundations matter. I don’t just want beginners to learn how to braid—I want them to understand the craft.

✨ Books are OPEN for fall appointments + consultations.

📚 Q1 2027 Braid Class: Now accepting inquiries.
DM me “BRAID” or comment below to be added to the interest list.

The foundation matters. Always. 🤎

They came as beginners. 🤎

These moms showed up ready to learn how to braid—some ready to make extra income that can work WITH their already busy schedules. Others because they wanted to feel confident doing their daughters’ hair, practice a new skill, and finally be able to say:

“I can braid.”

From learning the fundamentals, to practicing on their mannequins, to getting hands-on corrections and feedback from me, watching their progress throughout the day was exactly why I love teaching.

I don’t just want to show you how to braid.

I want you to understand why your hands are doing what they’re doing so you can keep practicing long after class is over.

And this is only the beginning. 👀

Q1 beginner braid classes are coming.

I’M BUILDING MY INTERLOCK PORTFOLIO 🍂✨

I’m opening a limited number of interlock installation appointments at $100 per inch while I expand my professional interlock portfolio.

This is a limited-time portfolio special—not my permanent pricing.

What you can expect:

✨ Intentional parting + grid work
✨ Professional interlock installation
✨ A consultation before booking
✨ A customized assessment based on your hair + loc goals
✨ Professional photos/video may be captured for my portfolio + social media

Because no two heads of hair are the same, consultation is required before your appointment is approved.

Once the limited portfolio spots are filled, this special will close.

If you’ve been considering interlocks, comment “INTERLOCK” or use the link in my bio to request your consultation.

I wish more new Braiders understood this:

✨Your foundation is not the part you rush through to get to the money.

✨Your foundation IS what eventually creates the opportunity to make more money.

The hand control.
The parting.
The tension.
The consistency.
Understanding different textures.
Learning how to problem-solve when the hair doesn’t cooperate.

Those skills don’t stop being valuable when you advance—they become the foundation for everything you build next.

That’s why I believe braiding can be the perfect gateway into MicroLocs.

You can take the skills you’ve spent years developing and turn them into specialized services, education, recurring revenue, and a business model that doesn’t require you to physically work more hours forever.

But it starts with mastering the fundamentals.

That’s why I created both classes:

🤎 Beginner Braid Class — September 26
For beginners, including moms who want to learn how to braid their child’s hair. You don’t need to know everything—you need the right foundation, guidance, and practice.

🤎 Mastering MicroLocs — September 27
For advanced Braiders who already have their foundational braiding skills and want to expand into MicroLocs as a specialized, higher-value service.

Two different stages. One bigger vision.

🚨 If you missed the deadline and want to attend comment “SEAT” below

Don’t rush the foundation. Build it so strong that you can build an entire business on top of it.

Twists or interlocks?
Don’t choose based on popularity. Choose based on what your hair can support. 🤎

The right installation method should be part of a professional conversation—not a decision made from a trending video or someone else’s results.

Before booking, ask yourself:

• Does this Loctician understand my hair texture?
• Can they explain why they recommend this method?
• Do they have experience with the results I want?
• Will they educate me on maintenance and long-term expectations?

A consultation is where those questions should be answered.

✨ September books are open for:
• MicroLoc consultations
• MicroLoc appointments
• MicroLoc extension services
• Beginner Braid Class
• Mastering MicroLocs Class

🚨 Saturday, September 19th is the LAST DAY to book your seat for my Beginner Braid Class or Mastering MicroLocs Class.

When the conversation about MicroLoc extensions comes up… DO YOUR RESEARCH. 👀

Because there are so many misconceptions about MicroLoc extensions, and unfortunately, a lot of them come from people who were never properly educated on the technique.

So let me show you what a properly installed, healthy MicroLoc extension can look like over time. 🤎

✨ Consistent grid
✨ Healthy natural hair
✨ Proper integration
✨ Quality human hair
✨ Natural hair fully locking from root to end

This client has colored her hair multiple times at her own discretion, her hair has been processed, and her natural hair has continued to lock.

We’ve now started gradually removing her extensions, and I’m showing the process of removing locksx

Her natural hair is fully locked from root to end.

That’s the difference between simply knowing how to attach an extension and actually understanding MicroLocs.

Installation is only ONE part of the equation.

The technique + quality of hair + at-home maintenance + professional maintenance all matter.

Nothing is more important than a healthy install using quality human hair extensions.

And this is exactly why I always say:

MASTER YOUR CRAFT.

When you become a specialist, your clients aren’t just paying for your time. They’re investing in your knowledge, technique, consistency, and expertise.

That’s why clients are willing to pay premium prices for someone they trust.

📚 BOOKS ARE OPEN:

🎀 Beginner Braid Class — September 26
✨ MicroLoc Masterclass — September 27
📍 Appointments
📋 Consultations

⚠️ MicroLoc extension pricing increases after September 30.
