LABOR DAY HYROX DC RECAP 🏁🔥

3 months of training led to this moment.

First HYROX officially in the books. ✅
This race tested everything — the running, strength, endurance, mindset, and ability to keep pushing when my body wanted me to slow down. Definitely some things I can improve on, but that’s exactly why we do this.

Big shoutout to my Men’s Doubles partner @builtbymesy for going through this whole process with me. 🤝🏾 We trained for it, showed up, competed, and finished the job.

For me, HYROX was bigger than just getting a time. It was about challenging myself, stepping outside my comfort zone, representing the DMV fitness community, and continuing to build Youngboyfit.

Now we recover… but I already know this isn’t my last one. 👀

2027… maybe HYROX DC again. Maybe NYC. 🗽

Road trip to Philly with my mom. 🚗💨

She invited me to the Buy the Block Back seminar, and I couldn’t pass up the opportunity to learn.

I’m always talking about investing in your health—but today was a reminder to invest in your mind and your future too. Learning about homeownership, generational wealth, and why ownership matters in our communities.

You never know what one conversation or one seminar can teach you. Keep learning. Keep growing. 📚🏡✊🏿

When in doubt… LOCK IN. 🔒

The first two weeks of HYROX training have been intense, but growth lives on the other side of discomfort. Less than 2 months until my first HYROX DC on Labor Day. This is more than fitness—it’s the lifestyle I chose. 🏃🏿‍♂️💪🏿
