IKEA HACK ✨️ Easy DIY Pillow Case Project!

How to do it:
1️⃣ Grab an IKEA pillowcase.
2️⃣ Get some handles (either sew them from matching fabric or reuse them from an old jute bag)
3️⃣ Sew the handles onto the pillowcase.
4️⃣ Box the bottom corners by sewing across them to give the bag the perfect shape and extra depth!

From full-size heartbreak to mini desk buddy!

I found the dreamiest flea market fabric and immediately knew that I want to turn it into a Begonia Bag. It was such a fast, joyful sew, and I was so excited to shoot it with Nina! But between juggling too many bags on the bus and how lightweight this one was... yep, it accidentally stayed on the bus🚍💨😭

I was heartbroken not to show you the final piece, but I couldn't let the story end there. With just a few tiny scraps left, I scaled down the pattern to make a mini Begonia Bag! Now it proudly lives on my desk holding my pens.

Have you ever lost a handmade piece in the wild? Let me know I’m not alone! 👇

I found my grandma’s old Singer sewing machine tucked away in the cellar, and to my absolute surprise, it still works like a charm! 🥹✨

Bringing this piece of family history back to life felt so special, and I knew right away what my very first project had to be: a handmade bag. 🧵👜

There’s something so magical about creating something with your own hands using a machine that has so many memories attached to it

From thrifted trousers to a new favorite bag! 👖✨
When we spotted these men’s trousers, we instantly knew they were destined to become a Dahlia bag (Ad|Anzeige).
The pattern and texture match the design so perfectly! It’s amazing how simple it can be to turn second-hand clothes into a completely unique, one-of-a-kind statement piece.

Let this be your sign to look at thrifted clothes with a fresh pair of eyes and get inspired for your next sewing project! 🧵💡

Would you try upcycling a pair of trousers into a bag? Let us know in the comments!

Sometimes the most creative process is… to pause. ⏸️

Especially in sewing and creating, taking a break can be just as important as making the next stitch. Creativity needs room to grow, evolve, and surprise us. Sometimes, slowing down is exactly what we need to find our flow again. 🪡✨

Who can relate to this? Do you also find that your best ideas come when you finally take a pause? ⏸️💭
