This Hawthorne food cart is cranking out some of the best pasta Portland has to offer.

Food cart Nice Time (@nicetime.pdx) specializes in all things fresh pasta. Alongside Italian and Italian American staples like fresh tomato, basil, and burrata spaghettini drizzled with bright olive oil, you’ll find Korean-inflected dishes like gochujang ragu ravioli and perilla mushroom pasta.

It’s hard to put into words how grateful we are.

June was an especially difficult month for us. We went through a break-in and also experienced the loss of our mom, and there were days when everything felt like a lot to carry.

Through it all, this community continued to show us so much kindness, encouragement, and love. Every visit, message, kind word, and bit of support meant more to us than you probably know.

Being able to run our little food cart here, meet so many wonderful people, and now have the chance to share our story with @theoregonian is something we’re incredibly thankful for.

Thank you for supporting Nice Time, believing in what we do, and making us feel so welcomed and cared for.

We feel very lucky to be part of this community. Truly, thank you from the bottom of our hearts.

Have a nice time at Nice Time💙 by @nicetime.pdx

Our First Time Private Event. A day we’re so grateful for.

Thank you, @malpractice.pdx , for inviting us to be part of such a fun event. It was our first time joining an event like this, and we loved meeting so many new faces.

Every new experience helps us learn and grow. We hope to keep sharing Nice Time with even more people and become a small part of this amazing community.

Thank you to everyone, we hope to see you again at the cart soon.

Special thanks to Gabe @morethanthevine for helping us capture such a special day! by @nicetime.pdx

🍝Fresh made pasta, yes please! @nicetime.pdx specializes in delicious fresh pasta. You’ll find classic Italian dishes and Korean-inflected dishes like gochujang ragu ravioli. 🔥Everything here was SPECTACULAR! The pasta is al dente and the sauce is perfection. Highly recommend checking them out!! by @nicetime.pdx

Two of the carts we share space with here were recently recognized by the @portlandmercury as two of the city’s best!

So proud of @mamachowskitchen & @nicetime.pdx and the food they serve, as well as the people they are.

No better time to see what all the fuss is about this weekend! Let’s put them in the weeds, and share some sunshine and drinks with our friends.

Cheers 🍻
