In celebration of the small but mighty Asheville, the Chai Pani kitchen is teaming up with 2026 James Beard Best Chef Southeast nominees - Matt Dawes of @thebullandbeggar & Taylor Montgomery of @montgomeryskyfarm to bring you a feast celebrating the heart, spirit, and stories of Asheville.

Hosted by cofounders & recent James Beard Award nominees for Outstanding Restaurateurs, Molly & Meherwan Irani, we’re bringing you a dinner that couldn’t happen anywhere but here! Plus, get some inside scoop on Molly’s new book, Service Ready!

And I don't think it's really even about the wood. The wood just represents the choice to never give into convenience or mediocrity. Great things take great amounts of work and great people, and no matter how great, still rarely do they last forever.
