Happy Valentine’s Day to my forever Valentine & my very best friend!! ♥️

The guy who makes me coffee every morning without fail, fills up my water bottle just because, and never questions my overly ambitious dinner parties—he just quietly helps me pull them off because he knows how much it means to me.

The guy who packed up and moved across the country with me, braved a tough first year in San Diego when we had no friends or support system here, and built a life with me from the ground up when we were just confused early twenty somethings.

The one who encourages every dream I have, listens to all my wild ideas, and never shoots them down. The most patient person in the world when I stop to take just one more picture every five steps while traveling (it’s my passion, I can’t help myself, and yet he somehow has infinite grace for it).

The most loyal friend I’ve ever known, the best travel partner (Thailand, Italy, Greece, Croatia, London, Mexico… oh, only 8 or 9 times together—what’s one more? And of course, his casual proposal in France), and the only person who gets to call me out for my shoe collection—because, let’s be honest, the hat collection is just as excessive. 🤫

The guy who will always say yes to stopping to pet every dog, who begrudgingly comes shopping but secretly enjoys it if there’s a little treat involved, and who eats the chocolate dumpling at @dintaifungusa like an actual lunatic—eyes closed, soaking up every second like it’s a religious experience. (iykyk) 🥟

The guy with impeccable taste in movies, comedy, and music—I’m honestly shocked he’s in software sales because @netflix should absolutely hire this king.

Nearly 8 years together, and somehow every year just gets better (ew, I know, grosssss). I have no idea how we’re going to top the last few, but I know that no matter what, there’s no one else I’d rather do life with.
