“Let Me Know” is out NOW!!! #newmusic #yallternative #summertime by @nicksampofficial
I had the opportunity to be in latest @kipmooremusic music video for Janie’s Song (American Heartbreak). Had a great day filming with Kip and everybody involved, he was very hands on during the whole process and knew exactly what he wanted in the video. Was cool to see that aspect of an artist and how these things are made first hand. Special thanks to Kip for involving me and also featuring my truck! Last night I got to witness the band that inspired me to pick up a guitar and start playing music. I was 11 years old when I first saw @acdc in concert. I had already been playing guitar for about six months at the time, but I think that initial show at Madison Square Garden had a lasting impact on my life (shoutout to my dad for taking me on a school night). Fast forward nearly ten years to the day, I’m still playing guitar, pursuing music in Nashville and I got to see them again live. The seed was planted with AC/DC’s music. Angus Young was my first ever guitar hero (and still is) and the reason why I started playing guitar. Guitarists like EVH and Slash are up there too for me, but Angus came first and opened the door to that world. He’s had such an influence on my playing style, and when I heard “Back In Black” for the first time at age 10, I was obsessed. That band had such an influence on my youth, and seeing them again last night as a young adult reminded me of my roots, where I came from and the reason why I fell in love with music in the first place. All roads lead back to AC/DC. I feel very blessed that I got to witness AC/DC live, twice!! New music is in the works, and it’s something I put a lot of blood, sweat and tears into. I’m working on a sound that honors my rock roots and where I came from, but still sounding like me. Being authentic, original and conveying relatable emotion are my main priorities in my music. I’m excited to share more with you as it gets ready to release. Until then, I’ll be working on this new batch of songs so keep an ear out for them. Last night was super inspiring and a strong reminder of where I come from and why I love this so much. Long live AC/DC, and they were right when they said “it’s a long way to the top if you wanna rock ’n’ roll.”⚡️ Also… Foo Fighters rocked it last night. Top tier. 🤘🏻 #acdc #angusyoung #rockconcert #rocknroll #music by @nicksampofficial
