I am totally in awe! The ability to stay focused on the end goal of 100km of one foot in front of the other, for 14 + hours is gob-smacking. Congratulations @richrichie09 🥂🥇🎉 You totally rock! And so does your fantastic family that has been with you all the way ❤️🥰 @paige.elliott93 & George 💕😍 #thamespathchallenge #100kmrun #mindovermatter #soproud by @nickyelliottimages

The richness of South Africa’s fossil records should inspire more than scientific curiosity: they give us a profound sense of connection, perspective and responsibility. To stand among these rocks and fossils is to realise how extraordinarily precious—and fleeting—our own existence is, and how much of Earth’s history is entrusted to us to understand, protect and pass on to those who come after us. And it’s all just under our noses - hit the road people and go see for yourself. Meet the people who gladly share their incredible knowledge and never stop learning. 💪🏻👩‍🎓 by @nickyelliottimages

Audio proof! You don’t just have to feel like a fossil when you try and explain this stuff to the next generation - you can visit it and live it now, today! A push-button radio within easy reach above your bed, an ashtray if you need a smoke when you’re on the loo, and a breakfast that makes you look forward to that alone time. Crispy winter mornings where the ice sparkles on the lawn and the metal window frames stay sealed shut until the sun has sorted out the condensation on the inside. The Karoo is the place to visit if you want some real-time, old-time, value-time and the best time! #moltenweld #karoo #southafrica #victoriawest by @nickyelliottimages

The wonder of the Zimbabwean economy… I popped down to the shop to buy a few basic provisions and instead of USD 0.50c change, I got a banana. 🍌 by @nickyelliottimages

Making the most with George 😊❤️💕 by @nickyelliottimages

To this seriously accomplished woman who redecorated my home, sorted out garden lighting, painted the shed, walked the dogs, cooked up a feast, entertained us, road-tripped and nursed me. Best two weeks together! Thanks for all the good times @aliburke.fr 😘🥰 by @nickyelliottimages
