What if one conversation was able to redirect a person’s life and create a ripple effect of healing that spans generations? It took a near-death experience for me to realize that after 35 years, I didn’t know the body I was living in. Take the journey with me and your entire family on Feb 4th. Dream BIG, follow THROUGH!

This is what we teach the children at @preciousdreamsfoundation and it’s what we model as a foundation. This ‘Comfort Shop’ is my biggest dream for PDF and I couldn’t be happier that the very first space was created in NYC in partnership with @nycacs. This will change the way NYC does foster care forever.
Children should have the option to CHOOSE what they want, what they like and what they need in their most challenging moments.

I’m so blessed to have played a part and to be trusted to work closely with the ACS team to provide maximum comfort and trauma-information programming in this space. Thank you to everyone who helped bring this baby to life! What a dream!

More info and exciting announcements coming soon. 🙏🏽

I’m still on a high from a successful @preciousdreamsfoundation 15th annual gala and 400k raised to support our programs for youth. Sharing a few moments from the night and a quick reminder for you guys to get out there and vote today. Vote and then continue investing where the needs are big. 🙏🏽 by @nicolerussell

A balanced October.

Cash and Codey are getting big and sharing cars. I’m seeing friends a bit more. Cash is learning how to make mommas morning coffee. We took some of our cohort members to see WANTED on broadway. We celebrated Migs bday. Kelsei jumped on a flight to work with Michelle Obama (his pics are coming soon or never lol) and it’s just been a great month. Grateful for this season 🍁 🙏🏽 as the world changes. by @nicolerussell

The PDF gala ended at 10pm. This was me at 11:05pm sitting at a bar with my closest friends and family. This is when I finally took a breath. And I’m so grateful for those people.. they keep the battery charged. 🙏🏽❤️

I love you @miss_shellyfit thank you for always being there for, for volunteering every holiday season and for teaching our kids yoga all across the nation whenever we ask 😊💪🏽. by @nicolerussell

Since our inception, we’ve prioritized connecting children in shelters or foster care with inspiring storytellers or motivational speakers that have relatable backgrounds and lived experience. It’s not to exclude anyone that has an impressive testimony, but it’s simply so that the children can see someone that understands their circumstances and beat the odds.

This week we were so lucky to have @chelleyb share her testimony as our gala keynote and represent the nearly 28,000 children that are sleeping in a homeless shelter tonight in NYC, wondering if their future will make space for their dreams. You may know her from Peacocks @loveislandusa but to us at PDF, she’s an advocate and philanthropist and we’re honored to have her on our side.

Thank you @chelleyb for leading the way and using your platform to spread love for youth impacted by housing insecurity. by @nicolerussell

To the incomparable Angela Yee, thank you.

Hosting the 15th Annual Laughter & Lullabies Gala was no small task, and you carried the evening with grace, poise, and effortless command of the room. From the first welcome to the final applause, your warmth set the tone and your professionalism kept every moment flowing seamlessly. You went far beyond what was asked of you, and every guest in the Edison Ballroom felt it.

Your generosity didn’t stop at the stage. Sharing Precious Dreams Foundation with your audience on @wayupwithyee amplified our mission and brought new awareness to the young people we serve as they navigate foster care, housing instability, and the journey into adulthood. That kind of visibility is a gift we will not forget.

It was an honor to share this milestone year with you. Together with our sponsors, supporters, and board, we raised $400,000 for our youth, and your presence helped make this night one for the history books.

With deep gratitude,

My cousin got married and I only cried 4 times. 🙏🏽❤️💪🏽

Who doesn’t LOVE LOVE?! Congrats @brandnoobian @shellyville on a perfect celebration and the beginning of forever. Thank you for all of the reminders of how blessed our family truly is. by @nicolerussell

It’s all an illusion 🎄.

1. Alstede Farms is massive and sooo much fun. Thank you @laurastylez for the rec 🙏🏽. The boys loved it.
2. I’m living through everyone’s culturecon content and loving it. My hands are full but I will see you next year.
3. I consider putting my Christmas tree up in October about 2-3 times a day.

Anybody else think it’s okay to just start celebrating Christmas? We only live once or twice or maybe four times 💁🏽‍♀️. by @nicolerussell

🥹not your typical quincenera! @preciousdreamsfoundation is turning 15 and we’re celebrating this birthday with the people that helped us get here. It’s going to be a night filled with unexpected guests, inspiring stories and people that has played a major role in standing with and for youth navigating trauma and instability. Please join us this gala season in your best attire and stand for a cause that’s been fully transparent, consistently giving and consistently growing beside our youth. 🙏🏽 💪🏽

NYC, I can’t wait to see you Oct 27th. I will probably be somewhere crying like I usually am 🤣🤣🤣thanking everyone and trying to take Photo Booth pics between each conversation. by @nicolerussell
