NIGHTWATCH 2026 | MEET THE ARTIST Nikitas Sifonios is a photographer whose work emerges from documenting crisis situations, where moments of disruption and stillness exist side by side. His images explore the fragile boundary between safety and uncertainty, revealing how chaos and calm coexist, and how distant realities can suddenly feel close and personal. Within the Nightwatch exhibition, his work confronts the viewer with the vulnerability of human life. NIGHTWATCH 2026 | MEET THE ARTIST Marthe Ceulemans approaches image-making as a layered and intuitive process of looking and being seen. For Nightwatch, she presents a multimedia work composed of ten parts that gradually reveal themselves, inviting the viewer into a sequence without a fixed beginning or end. Moving between playfulness and confrontation, the work reflects on perception and presence, and what happens when control is loosened.
