Vision Board came true! Full circle moment last week: I was invited back to the The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) to teach the CEMS Global Master’s in Management students - the same programme I graduated from years ago 😇

My mum was my first teacher. During the session, she sat in the front row of my class as a student. Hard to put into words how heartwarming this was for me to see her witness me in live in action 💞

What made it special was the room itself - students from 40 exchange schools and countries across the globe, all in one session. The energy and range of perspectives made it genuinely interactive, not a one-way lecture. We covered two sessions:

📍 Self-Leadership, using the PRO framework (Person | Role | Organisation) from my INSEAD Executive Coaching training. Rather than just teaching the model, we lived it - I shared real examples from my own professional and personal life to show what Person, Role and Organisation actually look like in practice, and the students did the same via reflection exercises

📍 Ethics & Leadership, where we used the current AI safety debate as a live case study - ‘Accountability by Action’, and standing by your personal values when the pressure is real

The questions from the room were some of the most insightful I've had in a session like this - pushing well beyond theory into the pragmatic reality of holding responsibility in the real corporate world. What I loved the most was the interactive session with a genuinely impressive and curious group of students, and a reminder of how sharp the next generation of leaders already is!

Thank you very much to Niranjan S Janardhanan and the LSE Department of Management for the kind invitation, and for such generous, wonderful feedback on the session's impact. Eternally grateful to my alma mater @londonschoolofeconomics @lsemanagement 🙏

Strange and wonderful to stand on the other side of the LSE classroom. Time really is an illusion - still reeling from the surreal experience! 👩🏻‍💼🧿

To 70 Years of Indrani, a remarkable legacy 🥰❣️🧿

Happy Anniversary to my Nana and Nani in heaven. Today would have been 70 remarkable years of their journey together. To say my family and I miss them deeply would be an understatement.

As a tribute, I’m writing reflections here & on Substack (link in bio), as I strongly believe our personal and professional lives are deeply intertwined.

I feel incredibly grateful to have cherished memories with my grandparents well into my 30s, which I know not everyone gets to experience.

Although I grew up between the Middle East and the UK, my annual visits to India were more than just holidays. Time with them at the family home became an institution in itself - filled with life lessons, resilience, warmth, food, storytelling, and laughter.

Two wounded children displaced during Partition, found one another amidst unimaginable upheaval - got married on 19 May 1956 and together, they navigated hardship, built a life from scratch, and stood beside each other through every season of life.

What always stood out to me was not just their strength, but honesty and humour they carried through life together. No matter the circumstances, resilience and laughter always found its way into the room. Their ability to tease one another, dance together and lighten heavy moments carried the family through tough times. Their marriage wasn’t loud or performative - it was grounding, comforting, and full of love.

Nana Nani's 66-years long partnership (while alive), left behind an extraordinary legacy. People often say: invest for the long term and you’ll see the rewards. In their case, the ROI looked like:

• 3 incredible children (including my Mom, for which I remain eternally grateful)
• 7 grandchildren & 8 great-grandchildren, encompassed by love
• A thriving family business, Indrani (formed by their combined names), built from humble beginnings into a well-oiled organisation, carried forward by my hard-working family

But beyond business or numbers, their greatest legacy was human: honesty, compassion, kindness, resilience, and unwavering commitment to family.

Sometimes all you need is for the world to be upside down for it to make sense again. Major achievement unlocked this birthday by doing a headstand - brilliantly guided by my dear friend and awesome yoga teacher @yogawithananas 🧘🏻‍♀️ 🙏🏼
Thank you @laughingananas for believing in my inner strength and I am so grateful to be supported by my loving community, you know who you are 🤸🏻‍♀️ ❤️ 🧿

This International Women’s History Month, I am excited to be joining as a UN Women UK Participant at the 69th session of the United Nations Commission on the Status of Women (CSW69). Thrilled to be on board for one of the most significant events in the UN’s calendar! Grateful to be back for second time as a delegate, after an insightful experience last year during CSW68 and meeting many powerful women.

This year’s CSW theme, “For All Women and Girls – Equality. Rights. Empowerment,” is a rallying call to take collective action. I am grateful to participating in a powerful global movement to advance gender equality and women’s rights.

While we strive to move forward, the challenges in the DEI space continue to remain. As a passionate DEI professional and ERG Leader, I am keen to use this platform to advocate change and understand how we can learn from the UN CSW69 events to make a difference.

For my fellow UN Women - please do reach out and look forward our inspirational journey to connect, learn, and work together to drive meaningful change in the world.
